The more and more people know about their real selves, the more likely it is a stalker will find their address. Now admittedly, it is very obvious and it's not like it happens to all streamers but I don't mind them using this as a safety net.

Sure, I understand why the streamer themselves might want to keep their identity secret. But I don't understand why fans/people here see it as something to attack them for if they don't.

I actually completely agree with the sentiment, for what it's worth.

I think having 50 members all operating within rigid boundaries, and then employing a total renegade, obviously makes them super interesting. If not for the circumstances surrounding the Taiwan shit she'd probably still be there, but the reality is that she left and she was never coming back, so I don't see how anyone could have any kind of intense feelings on her decision to move on with her life beyond 'I hope it goes well even if her content isn't for me anymore'.

But... That's basically what people are doing? They just add on an additional "... and this is why it isn't for me anymore" for the sake of discussion - which is making people lose their minds for some reason. I've noticed basically nothing can be discussed in this thread without people finding it problematic in one way or another. Makes me wonder what the point of the thread even is. Just sharing funny clips? Surely there are better venues for that.

Shitposting, sharing alternate indentity info, discussing said info, talking about happenings/info from streams to get a bigger picture in a less chaotic/speedy enviroment. If I even want to actually talk about something that relates to my Oshi that isn't 100% positive or might be interesting to the inner workings of the company she works for, this place is great. I'll add that I refuse to use discord for this shit and I've already been reading shit on this website for 7ish years.

On the topic of Kiryu Coco, the locust queen, I will say only this. I highly enjoyed Asacoco Live, it was legitimately entertaining and a breath of fresh air. However she quickly stopped making those - whether because of management or because preparing the skits took a lot of time and coordination (which I believe she had alluded to and which was frequently used to shitpost about her being lazy) - and her content became unfunny quickly… and then she started to pander hard to reddit. I remember hatewatching the meme reviews with /vt/ initially before I dropped off her content almost completely.

The illusion that her post-asacoco content was embraced warmly by everyone is fake and largely built up after she got into Winnie the Pooh's crosshairs - through tribalism.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it more, it was a series of debuffs for me that eventually culminated in the horrifying realization that she's both enjoying the reddit trash and infecting other holomems with it. The prelude was her obsession with ARK, I guess.

If you think about it, it's not like she actually particularly wanted to be a talent. Hell, even her fellow members often remarked how helpful she is and I think it was one of the things she is beloved by them for (ironic if she truly wanted to become a manager originally).

From what I remember I think she originally did apply for a management or support position but in a sort of spur of the moment/thought it would be fun sort of moment she ended up entering herself as Gen 4 member. It's like it A-chan decided to be part of the Gen lineup.

Anyway it seems one of the reasons why she joined Vshojo is because Gunrun basically did a sales pitch to her and impressed her with his tech and programming.
