The guy you're talking about is probably French-German Daniel Cohn-Bendit. The English article about him is short, the German article goes much deeper. He prefaced the book he wrote (I can't find its English title, the original title was Der grosse Basar, literally translated as The big/great bazaar) by calling it "a colorful department store of left-wing radicalism".

I find it hilarious that even the mod who locked the thread because Y'all Can't Behave feels obligated to try and distance this from trannies.
I think you'd be surprised. Believe it or not, there was a time when Reddit wasn't weird and gay. It's largely hidden under layers of bullshit and IPO-intended censorship now, but the original userbase of the site was non-political or civil libertarians who just wanted to talk about Internet stuff.

NBC did a story about pedophiles prevalent on reddit not that long ago. In my opinion, this matter is not getting enough attention. Reddit is swift to crack down on communities that they feel mock "wokism".
I am noticing more and more people commenting on the plethora of material on reddit that appears to be friendly to child grooming. I am seeing more and more indication that people try to report this content and reddit takes no action to remove it. I know that the drama offsite community had a member a year ago or so who managed to bait a redditor who was posting on a sex positive subreddit into private messaging that he was having sexy time with his young daughter when he was home alone with her and even managed to bait the redditor into following a fake instagram account for what was a young girl. They got the real identity of the person. If it is that simple to find someone on reddit who is seeking children to try to get close to, then it would make sense for reddit to attempt to err on the side of caution when it comes to reports of child sexualization. But they do not seem to be doing it. I found the subreddit that the drama folks were focusing on.

I read an article once, regrettably (or maybe not) I'm not able to find it anymore, that described what took place in those alternative kindergartens.
