Something that's always bothered me about the resetera staff is how bitchy they get over "off topic" posting. its unlike almost every other platform on the internet.
For example, in the thread about the current Russo-Ukrainian war, B-Dubs has been going wild telling people to make new threads about news or events happening that are related to the war instead of posting it in the war thread, because "its not about the war, its about events related to the war", even though the whole point of big expansive threads like this on every forum on the internet is to contain all surrounding information so as not to force users to read 500 different topics.
For example, news about a Russian NHL player being arrested and conscripted by the russians to fight in Ukraine was posted, causing B-Dubs to cry:

Its been this way forever. Like he usually tells people not to discuss the anti-russia sanctions in the thread because theyre not related to the war. People have long since started ignoring him in the thread, no one apologized or anything, they just discussed the news story and didn't give B-Dubs a second thought. They also immediately started discussing nukes again on the same page eve though B-Dubs made up a thread rule saying not to discuss nukes, because they know he is a retard.
