I've been hearing of "right wing death squads" since Trump, but I'd yet to see one video of them or hear of any leftie who was killed by them. You'd think they'd have got a friend or family member of some always online weirdo or journo by now.
Maybe the right really should have death squads. The left gets what they want, and the right won't have to deal with the worst of the left. Everybody wins.
I know a woman who was hired at a company as part the diversity and inclusion department. She knew nothing about the business and admitted as much. All she did was travel around and attend meetings she didn't understand or contribute to. What do I call this person?

Something that's always bothered me about the resetera staff is how bitchy they get over "off topic" posting. its unlike almost every other platform on the internet.
For example, in the thread about the current Russo-Ukrainian war, B-Dubs has been going wild telling people to make new threads about news or events happening that are related to the war instead of posting it in the war thread, because "its not about the war, its about events related to the war", even though the whole point of big expansive threads like this on every forum on the internet is to contain all surrounding information so as not to force users to read 500 different topics.
For example, news about a Russian NHL player being arrested and conscripted by the russians to fight in Ukraine was posted, causing B-Dubs to cry:
Its been this way forever. Like he usually tells people not to discuss the anti-russia sanctions in the thread because theyre not related to the war. People have long since started ignoring him in the thread, no one apologized or anything, they just discussed the news story and didn't give B-Dubs a second thought. They also immediately started discussing nukes again on the same page eve though B-Dubs made up a thread rule saying not to discuss nukes, because they know he is a retard.

All of the mods/admins are power tripping assholes. I've never seen anything like it, even going back to the 2800 baud modem BBS days. I love how some of them (Nepenthe especially) whine about how they're "overworked". Nepenthe recently had a hilarious post about how she has been told by multiple people IRL that it should run for office because "how wise it is" but it can't run because it lives in Georgia, which isn't black or stupid enough to elect a tranny faggot like it.
A state that has worshipped at the feet of a losing fat politician baboon and Star Trek Discovery star (Stacey Abrams) isn't stupid enough to elect you and you know it, says something. It would be hilarious if some fake Euro convinces Nepenthe that they can sponsor it to emigrate to Europe, half that forum is filled with "time to leave the USA" doom posting.
I've more or less stopped visiting ERA, its gotten stale and boring as they've driven off the true suicidal drama tards, all that is left is slayven and that dog faggot shit posting threads that die in an hour. I wonder what the MOBA guys who bought the forum are thinking about the monthly sinking traffic and how it seems like the admins and mods are sabotaging the site deliberately.

I'll admit I don't know much, if anything, about the MOBA guys but part of me keeps getting these "organized crime" vibes from them. As if the only reason they even bought ResetERA was strictly for money laundering and tax evasion purposes. Hence why there aren't any fucks given about the moderation and little word about the sinking viewcounts and clicks.

It's far less interesting than that, resetera is simply the biggest video game forum still operating and they make a lot with advertising without needing to do anything.

MOBA's "business" is acquiring a "network" of forums to then claim they all build each others value then selling this logic to investors. That nearly all the forums except a couple they acquired before ERA were basically dead has not so far been an impediment to this model. Neither has the fact that this "network" has never really been built. ERA's ads might be the most traditionally profitable part of the business now, especially since it was already setup. But as long as MOBA keeps acquiring things and inflating their value the specifics of any individual forum aren't too important.
Also, when we talk about MOBA and "business" it's making it sound far more elaborate than it appears. They have like five employees, four of which are in sales. The forums pretty much all run on volunteers.
The real winner continues to be Isamu Fukui, capitalist.
