General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Has any private server survived a lawsuit? Because companies allowing them to exist would not be legal precedent. It just means most of them don't care to go after them.
I don't think there have been any super direct challenges, but companies like Sony and Nintendo have tried over the years to shut down emulation for sure (connectix virtual game station and bleem are two big examples). The big problem is the big money bags both companies have, though, so that's why when you see people develop emulators, it's a big no-no to use/include source code from the companies in question, or even read into it. Nothing like getting dragged through legal purgatory because you didn't put in the work yourself on your project. It's similar for private servers. No stealing/distributing code you do not have license for, if the company in question sniffs you out, you'll be in pain, especially if they decide you're making a profit off it.

Someone had stinky feet. I'm calling it. It was Calli.
She is always using those edgelords school shooters boots so is a given

Okay, where does Fauna actually live? Sounds like Gura actually visited her room, as she saw her streaming closet (and apparently was trapped in it by Fauna temporarily).

Didn't Gura also call Ame 'Becca' in an old stream?
Not sure, I only know of the Kronii/Fauna one and the time Kiara’s roommate accidentally called herself “Kiara” in a stream.
Yes, this happened. In an early Minecraft collab, Gura asked if there were any names that Ame's chat called her other than Ame, such as Rebecca. Very weird.

I'm just surprised how they all haven't really slip up much in saying irl names during streams or whatever. I feel like that's a hard thing to do once you gotten real close with your coworkers and became friends. Maybe I'm wrong in that but I feel it isn't easy to not slipup once you gotten close and during hours long streams tired or so much happening.
