I think this is the most likely of the ideas that have been floated around. Someone close to him is in some sort of legal trouble that he's going to have to help with, but it runs contrary to his ethics.

I think people are misunderstanding his frequent praises as of late of Lady Rackets. Whatever *this* is, it doesn't feel like marital problems. I think he's just leaning heavily on her for support right now and that's coming out in his drunken chat therapy sessions.

That said, the oversharing about how good their sex life is has been awkward and I'd prefer it was substantially toned down. There's "I have a hot wife" and then there's "I have a hot wife and let me tell you about this time she did the splits in college that blew my hormone addled brain".

Most people (myself included) have just been shit posting and throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

However, Nick forever lost tons of credibility on the farms in particular due to his association with the gunt and later his guntguarding. People actively warned him not to get involved and later anyone with half a brain could see he was actively playing coy when people know he was involved with him. Nick is not as smart as he is and he cannot hold his liquor as well as he thinks he does. The farms always win in the end.
