I've said this in the the threads for the last 3 mass shooters. The Buffalo, the Uvalde, and the D.C. one that had the Yakub poster on his wall. The Zoomers are an entirely deracinated generation, early Millennials only had touchs of this, setting in deeply towards the back half of the generation -- real world activity has been supplanted by social media and video games; the evangelical Boomers who blamed video games for the Columbine shooters were using an easy scape goat but it wasn't 100% off the mark. No longer do the kids just go out and play baseball, soccer or whatever pickup game the locals kids are doing at the time. They play it online via matchmaking, an endless rotation of nobodies that you hear for 15 minutes before they leave your life forever. To quote Hillary's superpredator line, "no empathy, no conscious" -- Zoomers are just as disconnected from reality as the black youths of the '90s hoods who had no fathers and maybe if they were lucky they had a crackhead mother, left entirely to the whims of the streets they all became sociopathic child soldier murderers for whatever gang of youths they managed to fall in with, before being elevated into the drug trade. A number of years later most were dead from attrition via gang warfare, or were nabbed by the police for a variety of reasons.

Instead of the hard streets, the Zoomers are left in an illusory prison of isolation, they can leave this prison at any time, but the addictions instilled in them by the algorithmic content pipelines has left them so enured to their situation that the thought would never cross their mind, not that it would matter much, those that strike off the shackles of these algorithms only find themselves in an increasingly dysfunctional world without anyone worth interacting with. Zoomers bounce between this or that group with almost no attachment, one day a socialist, the next an alt-right neo-nazi, the next they're trying out being a transgender, whatever content pipeline they fall down radicalizes them to an extreme because the algo had to find more and more extreme content to keep them entertained. Eventually they end up on 4chan or some Antifa Discord and in short order they're clubbing people in the head shouting Black Lives Matter or shooting up a shopping mall after writing up a Helter Skelter style manifesto. Zoomers are as close as you can get to a human that is a blank slate, an automaton that just follows the last set of programming introduced to it, prior generations like the early millenials, Gen-X, and, Boomers had a spark of community instilled in them, they cared about each other and the idea of just shooting up the place is repellent to them.

But has the government also funded into some kind of program that mental illness aswell? I mean, you'd think overall before these shit gun bills and policies you'd look into mental health first. America has a problem with the whole healthcare system though. It's usually private companies inflating prices over everything so unless you have insurance of some kind you're fucked maybe making it harder for people who go on these gun sprees to get the help they need. I don't like to pick my own cherries but there are so many countries that have healthcare covered by the government so unless people don't want tax payer money going towards the mentally ill America is never going to recoup from this issue.

Lol, look, shitposting aside, I do think there's a simple solution to this: massive mental health care reform, along with universal healthcare. I think a significant portion of people who have obvious mental illness or mental health issues are either undiagnosed or just ignored because no one even gives a shit (despite Eric Harris being on meds, he was able to do some pretty fucking weird ass shit with no one stopping to think "huh yeah that's fucking psycho" and actually doing something about it).

I do think zoomers are in a unique position because of having grown up with the internet and its various subcultures (hence so many of the recent mass shooters have been born after 2000), but the key issues affect everyone. The NYC subway shooter is a baby boomer, and he was influenced by internet retardation (specifically on race) just as much as the last 3 zoomer faggots were. His criminal history is hilarious, and yet he was just out and about living among regular people like there was nothing that wrong with him.

New Zealand didn't have a mass shooting for 22 fucking years. They, at the time, had lax gun laws comperable to the US. It took an Australian wignat shitposter to travel there specifically to cause asshurt and get easy access to guns (said asshurt intended to get NZ and other nations to ban all guns). The different between NZ and the US? New Zealand's health care system is universal and not running on fucking fumes. People with mental health issues aren't just let to fester into wignat/incel/antifa/anarchist/commie/ spergs capable of wiping out 10-30 people on sheer tardrage alone. And believe it or not, when you have medical issues, not worrying about how you're going to pay for it does wonders for making you not a fucking pscyhopath with rage and no will to keep on living.
