We already have an otherkin thread, but that thread is mostly for shaming, and also mocking Tumbler/Twitter fags. As we know, just like 95% of people on social media, Tubmler/Twitter fags are mostly just attention whores and comparing them to us true and honest otherkins, is like comparing Marvel fans to cinematic enjoyers. I decided to create a positivity otherkin thread where you can share your kin-related stories and experiences, and here is my story as a nekogender:

Believe it or not, I've been a neko-person even before I've even aware about anime. As a child, I enjoyed cat-like activities, like getting myself in confined space, meditation, observing little critters/sky/outside world from window. Neko is something that I can truly identify myself with: human but with cat characteristics, not entirely furry/cat-kin but also not entirely human.
My identity is NOT fetish, I despise weebs who think so and that's why I seriously dislike shit likes Nekopara. I'm not a puritan that would screech toward hentai, but Nekopara has already crossed the line: it depicts nekos as something clearly inferior than human, basically reduced to livestock statue, which is honestly offensive to my nekoself and my kins.
I'm a nekogender person, but I don't really have specific pronunciation. I don't really roleplay neither outside shitposting as my kin-ness is more a personal thing. The tail is the most important part for my nekoself instead of cat ears, if I have to pick one, I would pick tail over cat ears without hesitation.
