General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Completely baffling to me how YouTube is such a shit platform they had to result to doing this. Has any other VTuber fallen to a similar problem?
Pretty sure Aki and Choco have sub accounts solely because their designs/ASMR pissed Susan off years ago.

Why Mashiro got targeted completely baffles me, though, given he isn't the youngest-looking character, the canonically youngest character, or the most risque person performing ASMR under the Niji banner - let alone the whole platform.

Apparently, Mashiro's case is not false alarm and not bot attack.
I don't watch him, so I can't confirm how close he was to YouTube ToS violation.

To my understanding Omega was the manager of all of council but apparently some fans of Hololive got autistic about the idea of management getting involved with the talent. I think it could work because Council could have a boss who acts as the final word for their big council streams. Maybe she'll make an appearance at their one year anniversary.
Omega also got credited in some of Callie's songs

Do any of you guys happen to have/remember the questions from the last round of PC auditions? I only ask because of Reasons...
I don't think I have ever clicked on one of those corpo audition spreadsheets.

She announced her member wallpaper and retweeted art after that. Meeting might have been related to Kson or might have been hilariously bad timing, but she seems fine.
100% certain it had to do with Kson. 100% certain management told her to stop saying stupid shit that might only serve to rile the fans up

Some feel-good vibes. iPN carried Selen around AX via phone so she could interact with the Niji artists selling merch directly. She also had him buy all the Selen merch they could find.

Damn, this is another reason to respect the haha dragon. Stays in character and specifically goes and thanks the people making merch with her. I know most can't do this as they dont have a person to carry them around but atleast post shit on a roommate account and not jus thave 1 account for everything.

two Canadian born Chinese trying to speak their mother tongue with eachother and falling.

and people still think the Chinese will somehow take over the country.
How long until one of them says something and pisses of half a country?

1. Reimu is Colombian
Although beaner is used mainly to talk about mexicans, the term applies to all latinos as to the US people anyone speaking spanish is mexican.

Edit: For the ESL farmers - a lot of times in melting pot countries like the US and Canada, we'll say something like "I'm Dutch" or "I'm Italian". We don't actually mean we're from those countries, we mean our family lineage can be traced back to those countries originally.
I never understood why people from the US do this. Using the whole Mexican thing as an example, I have heard some people talk about how they are "Mexican" yet they have never visited Mexico, they don't speak Spanish nor do they seem to know shit about Mexican culture save for some bastardized version of a holiday their family celebrates because their great grandmother was Mexican or some shit. This is the same type of people that call themselves "Latinx"

Really cute but yeah I can totally see some Twitter retard saying that the white cat is doing blackface to try to get clout from fabricating drama.

It's fairly common for ASMR youtubers to get their channel deleted.
Clipchama got his channel yeeted for 11 days for no apparent reason other than what I assume was bots mass reporting him for sexual content. He has 35k subs.

At least for the US, it's because we don't have any longstanding shared cultural norms. Most of the countries our families came from had shared history, folklore, dress, religion, social norms, etc that date back hundreds of years. But once we all moved to the U.S, it was hundreds of these groups mashing together. Which side wins? Which side becomes dominant?

There's large segments of the population that hesitate to associate with, and even become hostile towards the thought of a shared American identity. Not only that, America is so large that what it means to be 'American' will be radically different from someone living in California vs Texas vs any other state. As such, it's much easier for some people/families to associate themselves with their roots rather than simply being American.

Mexicans call them Pochos, and they absolutely despise them with all their soul, there is a reason Mexican SJW never prosper because their own people call them faggots and ask them to neck themselves in Minecraft

That and how many get the mentailty of "I'm too x to be American and too American to be x"

It's interesting because dispite the cultural differences and relatively short lifespan compared to other countries, we still have some folklore.

Ame's roommate's name...
You just reminded me of something I wanted to mention a week ago when people were saying it sounds like Ame has a gun for home defense; California recently doxxed all of it's concealed carry permit holders.

They took the website down after a few hours, and HOPEFULLY they are getting sued over it (fat chance anything would come of it anyway), but I'm sure there are people out there who scraped the entire database while it was up and the files are out there. It's a bit too schizo for me personally to look up to see if Ame is on any of their gun registries (they leaked more data than just the full dox for CCW permit holders, like partial doxes for FFL transfers and such, I think), but I'm sure actual schizo's have already done it and now could potentially know her full address and whether she has means to protect herself.

Welp prepare for /vt/ to meltdown over this.
My body is ready
