"We don't discriminate..."

Oh, but you do. Against anyone who disagrees with or questions your rigid way of thinking.

"That's just curation."

In other words, "discrimination"?

Also, gotta love the brief glimpses of self-awareness in that they admit that in order to hunt the monsters, they have to become the monsters themselves. Newsflash to any r/196 Redditors reading: that ship has already sailed a long time ago. You aren't the resistance, you're the establishment. You're the jack-boots who have convinced themselves that they're the plucky underdog in your personal Star Wars/Harry Potter/Marvel fanfiction LARP. You have, as Nietzsche foretold, already become the monsters.

Moving on... Oh boy, yet another variant of this comic that completely misses the point of the original!

And now, for a little bit of strawman:

I’m actually getting a little sick of everyone who says a fetus is a parasite. Fleas don’t grow into puppies, worms don’t grow into kittens, fetuses grow into human babies. And they’re not exactly “abnormal”, pregnancy is a completely natural biological process for reproduction of the species, and sex is needed to make one. The damn fetus didn’t just attach itself to your womb like a tick to suck your nutrients.
I began questioning my participation in online feminist groups when their meme-game became a little too distasteful for me. I know, great humor can be crass, but there's a certain threshold where you realize that some of these people not only take it seriously but enjoy disgusting people.

Around the time a friend of mine had a devastating loss, Reddit was passing around "yeetus that fetus" showing a cartoon woman tossing a full-grown baby. It's ridiculous and could be funny in a dark humor sort of way, but honestly, I'm over it. It's gross. Once I had a child of my own, I'm completely done with the pro-choice side though I would be described by most normal people as pro-choice (Ovarit would disagree). Women should have access to abortion for a variety of reasons. It'll never happen but I'd really like for there never to be an unwanted child born on this planet. However, I do not know how a mother can go to these protests while holding signs and making statements that denigrate her own children. The image of that very pregnant woman with "still not a human" painted on her belly gives me chills.

I know Louie C.K. is cancelled for jerking to completion into a ficus in front of an unwilling and captive comedienne, but what he said about abortion was correct. You are in fact killing a baby. Trying to argue that it's just a clump of cells until some checkpoint is based on nothing. I think the current zeitgeist of pro-lifers know this and so they're going all in by saying, yeah, at birth, abortion's fine. It's a terrible take. The better take is to treat abortion with the sad gravity that it deserves.

Anyway, according to the Tibetan Book of the Dead it's more than a clump of cells at 49 days, so yeah, let's just go with that ha ha.

I can see where both sides are coming from. I would hope, emotionally speaking, that fetuses are seen as lives to be nurtured and not as merely a physical burden. Biologically speaking mammalian gestation isn't considered parasitism as there's an investment or payoff in continuing the organism's lineage (and enriching the family unit), but as a snapshot at that segment of time the fetus is using the mother's nutrients, which would be a parasitic relationship at that time.
Oh shit; it's The Big Purple turned into a comic.

Both definitions of cancer and parasite here don’t apply.
Foetal cell division is neither uncontrolled nor abnormal. It’s a highly choreographed dance that turns a single cell into three specific tissue types and then to all the cell and tissue types of the body, in their correct places, with correct timing. The coordination required is miraculous and staggering.
A parasite by definition ONLY takes. A foetus is not a one way relationship. It’s beneficial to the species as a whole. Unlike SJWs.
These memes are designed to create a sense of alienation and disgust in women when they think of babies and it’s working.

I think we need a new term other than "Historically Accurate" because that just leads to an endless argument about nitpicks. Most historical games have always been about aesthetics and immersion than absolute historical accuracy. The issue isn't that there are black SS women in the game, the issue is that they are breaking immersion and clashing with the aesthetics I bought the game for. If a game dev wants a more diverse and inclusive historical game they are free to play around with alt-history which allows them to use the aesthetics of the period but gives a lot more freedom to add your own stuff without breaking immersion and suspension of disbelief. Nobody is complaining about all the women and historical inaccuracies in games like Wolfensitne, Valkeria Chronicles, Iron Harvest, Assassins Creed, and Necrovison, because those games are doing their own thing. But you take a game like CoD: WW2 that tries to play it straight and historically accurate only to add a black squadmate that awkwardly dances around addressing racism and segregation in the US army is just weird.

Also to end my spergout if they only added women in the zombie mode no one would bitch about it because it falls into that alt-history rant I just made. Stop rewriting history and just create your own and embrace it.

It’s all about genre I reckon. If you’re getting a WW2 game/historical shooter, you have an expectation to things like period accurate weapons, maps and soldiers. You know: Japanese soldiers being Japanese, White Germans with MP40s, etc.

You can stretch things a little because gameplay, but not a whole lot.

Zombie games are a completely different genre. Of course you’d expect zombies. And women for that matter.

It’s a retarded argument.

Why did they need to awkwardly shoehorn women into their campaign when there were already women fighting in World War 2, like the Night Witches?

Because they were a tiny minority, because someone needed to keep the factories and farms running and weren’t combat troops?

I suppose they could have done a partisan faction where there were some women.

But the reality is, that aside from those two examples, it wasn’t really a thing, so they just had to make up their own shit.

(The Russian Army actually had a mostly propaganda womens combat regiment in WW1. You probably won’t see them in a game anytime soon. They barely fired a bullet, so were sent to guard the Winter Palace. When the Bolsheviks showed up they melted away, aside from a confused handful who were led away by guffawing revolutionaries and factory workers.)

I've sperged about this before, but the "historical accuracy" nerds were pissed the game was erasing actual women in favour of awesome cool cyborg OCs, and lying about the treatment of ethnic minorities when the reality would have been much grittier.

So I don't know where to post it exactly but..
It was a discord thread with a politic channel so I try to find any english podcast about how the woke marketing is the result of ESG giving bonus to entreprise that pertain the lgbtq.

Ironic that the tree bear any fruit. Is it doublespeak?
Re on another discord server I got in another slapfight (the first one I got is when I dared to say that you can't be asexual and seeking for sex at the same time). Mind you this was a politic channel

It certainly is astounding, and it's both comical and infuriating the the Correct Opinion of the day is to handwave it all away with the hubris that picking one hormone and just blasting it all over the place well after cell differentiation has occurred changes ones sex in any meaningful way.

Hold my beer while I take the front left and back right tires off my car. I've always envisioned myself as a biker. Got the gypsy leathers and everything.

Anybody pulls that "zombies aren't historically accurate" shit on me I just tell them they are and to look it up since I shouldn't be required to perform emotional labor for them without pay. Instantly indicates who is better versed in the social justice canon and therefore wins the debate.

You can even rub some salt on the wound by claiming they are de-legitimizing black cultures and religions, since the origin of the word is African/Haitian. That way, they're not only wrong, but they'll also be accused of being racist colonizers. Granted, anything less than unwavering adoration of acceptable non-whites gets branded as racism by these people, which just makes trolling them that much easier.

Ooh, I hadn't even thought of that. Dumb white people being overly respectful to voodoo beliefs that Haitians/creoles/etc. don't even take that seriously is definitely something to mine in these stupid conversations.

Well there was the Attack of the Dead Men in WW1 where a Russian garrison gets fucked up from a brutal gas attack, but the survivors were able to hold off the advancing Germans. Pretty cool battle to read about and there is a Sabaton dedicated to them too.

Because of the Georgia Guidestone bombing that happened today, I've seen the phrase "stochastic terrorism" being thrown around again. Apparently, the phrase originated from Daily Kos. More specificially, it was made up by this guy. He's a rich old white guy who has a very authoritarian streak. Here is his article about "stochastic terrorism." Here is an article about his article.

I know this is useless information, but it's been bugging me today because again I've seen people online throwing that phrase around. Thanks for hearing me out!

One, if you say anything about two-spirit, I never want to hear you bitch about cultural appropriation.
Two, it’s hilarious when they bring up two-spirit, the thing native Hawaiians had, etc. like “hah! These noble savages accepted nonbinary and were progressive!” In actuality, it was basically where they stuffed the gays/effeminate/any “broken” men. So you had the men who were in charge, the women who did women things, and the men who weren’t allowed to do shit and often had a chance of being raped. Very progressive.
