Imagine thinking Vshojo auditions are genuine after Kson/Rushia get in but no one else. It's even worse when you remember the Nux drama, imagine getting doxxed/scammed just for a contest you had literally no chance of winning.

Subaru's 3rd anniversary live is still probably my favorite and will be hard to beat, especially given the backstory. Subaru worked her ass off for her 2nd anniversary live only for it to have to be cancelled because of an equipment failure. She got really depressed because of how hard she had worked on it.

So she came back for her 3rd live and worked super hard and the result was a really great live where she really had great songs, choreo, and energy and lived up to the hype.

I watched that live at work and it was godlike. I saved the Ai Kotoba III part.

Damn 29 subs and like 120 views. Thats pretty rough. About 4 years ago I tried doing anime content. Did about 5 videos and I dont think I got past 10 subs and 50 views on most of the content.

Just fucking scrap the auditions at this point good lord, it's better to have it be over and done with than continue to lead smaller content creators along with a false hope.

It's super ironic that it's somehow harder to get into Vshojo than it is to get accepted by Nijisanji and Hololive of all things.

Vshojo is a co-op for streamers who have already made it somewhat big, rather than a corp that looks for potential stars to catapult with its network effect, so it makes a certain amount of sense.

Vshojo as a company just needs to be upfront about it and can auditions. Let's be real the actual recruitment process they do is basically scouting for major content creators and offering them an invite. If you don't get through by being big enough than you can maybe get accepted through nepotism via already being friends with a member.

I think I'm getting unreasonably pissed about this because this feels like something similar I went through for college. Working towards something and giving them paperwork after so much effort only to be told "Nah sorry you were never going to even get in in the first place" is absolutely infuriating.

At most she'd know that her application process had come to an end, which could just mean they decided she wasn't worth pursuing, no way in hell they'd tell her if the entire application batch was discarded.

Not saying they haven’t had their issues, just that people shouldn’t jump the gun on assuming what’s going on. I know people that disclaims/hate the company aren’t going to give benefit of the doubt, but don’t just assume the worst either.

It would be funny if the reason there isn't any news about VShoujo audition is they still haven't find people that fit their standard, just like (allegedly) Niji and Holo

I mean, most people know Holo and Niji have certain standards that immediately disqualify most indie VTubers. And those said people would then try their fortune at VShoujo instead. What if none of that people even meet VShoujo's standard?
