Generational debt, then we can also start making it the law that children have to go into the same occupations as their parents. You are destined to be the hereditary cubicle monkey or Burger King manager or DMV clerk.

Which was the kind of late stage Roman Empire monkeyshines that led to feudalism.
Which is the end result for the technocrats in charge anyway. It's what they want. They LARP for people about "Gay intersectional space communism" but in reality, what they really want and desire, is a return to feudalism. Their greed blinds them, and when they consider that the ideal future, they can only imagine the money they'll make forever and ever.

I think those in charge are greedy and foolish and stupidly short-sighted though, so things will probably fall off the rails before then.

Have they ever considered the possibility that there are already too many people on this island?

Doesn't Japan import like 60-90% + of its food? Even if they were to increase fishing aren't many of those species are already severely overfished in the home island waters?
Technically, yes. But Japan is the only country to keep several major diseases that threaten entire sectors out (Fireblight, citrus greening the latter only in Okinawa and Kagoshima Prefectures and thus removed from the rest of Japan).

Have they ever considered the possibility that there are already too many people on this island? One of the less-acknowledged reasons people oppose immigration is because they instinctively understand that the country can't physically support more people. The ideology that demands perpetual population growth refuses to accept that populations will shrink, as well as expand, and that adaptation to this fact, rather than childish denial, is necessary for the psychic health of the nation.
You just need to shoot boat people on sight and a lot of your problem would be solved there.

U.S. jobless claims rise to 235,000, most in nearly six months

More Americans applied for unemployment benefits last week and while layoffs remain low, it was the fifth consecutive week that claims topped the 230,000 mark and the most in almost six months.

Applications for jobless aid for the week ending July 2 rose to 235,000, up 4,000 from the previous week and the most since mid-January, the Labor Department reported Thursday. First-time applications generally track with the number of layoffs. Until early June, claims hadn't eclipsed 220,000 since January and have often been below 200,000 this year.

The four-week average for claims, which evens out some of the week-to-week volatility, inched up by 750 from the previous week, to 232,500.

The total number of Americans collecting jobless benefits for the week ending June 25 rose by 51,000 from the previous week, to 1,375,000. That figure has hovered near 50-year lows for months.

On Wednesday, the Labor Department reported that U.S. employers advertised fewer jobs in May amid signs that the economy is weakening, though the overall demand for workers remained strong.

Employers posted 11.3 million job openings at the end of May, down from nearly 11.7 million in April. Job openings reached 11.9 million in March, the highest level on records dating back more than 20 years. There are nearly two job openings for every unemployed person.

The figures reflect the unusual nature of the post-pandemic economy: Inflation is hammering household budgets, forcing consumers to pull back on spending, and growth is weakening, heightening fears the economy could fall into recession. Yet companies are still scrambling to add workers. Demand has been particularly strong in travel- and entertainment-related services.

The Labor Department releases its May jobs report on Friday and analysts expect that employers filled more than 276,000 jobs. Though not an unhealthy number, it would be the lowest monthly figure in more than a year.

Some highly-visible companies have announced layoffs recently.

The CEO of electric car maker Tesla, Elon Musk, acknowledged that the company was cutting about 10% of its salaried workforce, or 3.5% of its total headcount.

Netflix laid off 150 employees in May and another 300 in June after the streaming entertainment giant reported losing subscribers for the first time in more than a decade.

Online automotive retailer Carvana is letting about 2,500 workers go, roughly 12% of its workforce.

Online real estate broker Redfin, under pressure from a housing market that’s cooled due to higher interest rates, is laying off 8% of its workers. Another real estate company, Compass, is shedding 450 employees.

Crypto trading platform Coinbase Global is cutting about 1,100 jobs, about 18% of its global workforce, in the wake of collapsing cryptocurrency prices.

You don't need generational debt if you can just convince the old generation to force the younger into debt, ie. University/College loan.

What the fuck are you talking about. Netflix was at the centre of multiple Troon spazz controversies due to refusing to take down multiple comedians who made jokes about trans people, like Dave Chappelle. They are a yikes unwholesome Problematic company now. Every journalist and article writer online instantly switched to being snide and passive aggressive about them whenever Netflix is mentioned.

It was more that they refused to take down the comedians, the Wokies tried to flex muscle on them, then it turns out Netflix was weeks away from economically imploding, so now the Wokies get to discover just how much a corporation actually gives a shit about woke ideals in the face of "going broke." (Hint: They don't. Enjoy the taste of bus tires, faggots.)

This is also the same company that allowed people to watch Cuties on it.

In the US it's a mix of remote work and people fleeing shitholes like NYC and Commiefornia. I mean you'd have to be an idiot to want to pay the obscene tax rates just to live in a city full of crime and homelessness when you could move to a quiet suburb in a state with no income tax like Texas or Florida and do the same job. This drives up prices for everyone in the states getting all these coastal fags. And as you said, the amount of immigrants is also fucking up housing prices, since even counties in the middle of nowhere had their Hispanic population go from like 1% to 5% between 2010 and 2020.

Lastly you have Blackrock who speculates on housing prices and land and all sorts of other groups speculating on houses and land. I've seen it myself, in my state these "out of state investors" jack up prices on land by like $3-5K/acre and they own a decent amount of "for sale land". Since I've been paying attention to the market for a while, I can see land vanish from the market for a while and then reappear at a marked up price.

Things are intentionally fucked because our elite want to drain all the wealth from the people.

At least with the crypto crash you'll be able to buy a really fucking good GPU. Sucks about the continuing chip shortage though.
another part to note is that people of house buying age now, are also the biggest demographic in terms of population (millenials ages 22-42) and the summer of floyd was a massive wake up call for pretty much everyone in that age bracket, especially the ones closer to 40. even people i know who have jobs in the city are like "i'll commute" and suffer the hour or 3 to or from work if it means being outside the chimpout zones.
speaking of summer of floyd, his twitter was a delight, floyd inspired him to look up FBI stats and you can figure out how the autistic guy acted for the rest of the year.

hearing that quote from every boomer is why i stuck up for that black guy that beat up the elderly man and will always have a pro-"kill the old" stance, can't name a single person born before 1979 i enjoy enough to feel sad at their passing.
could he explain in detail what he was fighting for? because sociologists have it well documented that soldiers knew as much about war as slaves did about what happened to the cotton once it left the plantation.
He didn't come up with that concept, or the name, and the left and right are both correct though not fully. Trump's actions with covid played a large part in the current economic crisis, Putin has a very powerful hand right now because he has done a lot to disconnect his economy from the west since the 2014 round of sanctions so the current round of sanctions ended up being self defeating for the West, Neo-Liberal economics have gutted the underclass to the point that its barely able to stand on its own two feet, and Biden has fucked up literally every single chance he could get, deepening the crisis.
i bet even putin is amazed that his actions will cause russia to be a better place in relative economics than any other time in russian history.

I think the decline of Netflix has less to do with wokery (either pro or con) and a lot more to due with (1) the recent price hike, and (2) massively increased competition from other streaming services that charge less and offer more. Its current catalogue just isn't competitive now that every production company has its own service, many of which offer free trials and are available bundled with phone/internet/other streaming services. Netflix has no such deals.

The writing has been on the wall for Netflix for years now, absolutely no way were studios going to continue to give away their catalogues for free.

People aren't dropping netflix because they think it's woke but they are dropping it because of woke content.
Normies who are uninvolved in the culture wars dont want to watch a show about elderly trannies making a sex room or completely bullshit "documentaries" or muh strong black trans woman vikings, not because they're woke but because they're shit and nobody in their right mind wants to watch that shit.
They won't complain it's woke, they'll just complain there's nothing good/worth watching on netflix, which is what they're doing
People complaining online about it being too woke or not woke enough don't matter either way
