Dutch farmer revolt 2022

The thing is that the Netherlands are the biggest exporter of meat in the EU. Most of those farmers aren't crop farmers but animal farmers. You don't need meat to keep your population fed.
Dutch farmers grow a lot of vegetable and cereal crops as well. Integrating animals into cropping systems is the only way to move away from our reliance on mineral fertilizers.

it also helps the industry to leave fields fallow for a number of years to replenish the soil.
Fallow fields are the worst thing for soil health. CRP pay farmers to not farm shitty ground. While not the same as fallow ground, it also doesn't generally improve soil health.

Let's fucking go.

I saw this interesting post and I was wondering if someone could shed some light on it, @The Wicked Mitch what are your thoughts?

Let's not forget they're also the ones behind things like this:

The TriState City stuff is real in some way, but it's more an initiative to connect cities in that area and treat them as a more distinct economical and political entity. Kinda like the Ruhr region in Germany, or various other extended metropolitan areas that market themselves as connected entities.
It's not really a plan to actually build a singular Megacity or anything, it's more of a marketing campaign than anything else.

There was that one story about how clueless they are, when they handwaved away somebody's concern about how they can maintain their bodyguards' loyalty when it all goes to hell. They are utter midwits.
I also remember seeing Claus Schwab's masters or doctorate thesis being dug up and it was complete idiotic drivel. The biggest threat with these wannabe world rulers isn't that they are so clever and dastardly but that they are utter retards and yet somehow still managed to rally a lot of political and industry leaders around them (just look at the WEF attendees). You would think at some point someone in power would sober up and say "nah fuck you guy, you and all of your ideas are stupid and unworkable".

It's almost as if they all belong to a single tightly woven group who help each other get jobs because their parents also had those jobs or something.

History teaches us that until the peasantry get pissed enough to the point where they're disassembling state security forces they get nothing done.
They should be a lot more pissed off than they are. I do wonder what kind of thing would actually spark revolution or serious unrest. Hunger probably. Breakdown or order? You’d have thought being locked down would but peoples capacity for accepting things astonishes me. Until people are seriously uncomfortable they do nothing.
Europe won’t starve from this alone but it will have significant drops in quality and quantity of fresh foods and combined with other stresses it could make things spicy. Off season, almost everything you buy for salads and veg where I am is grown in the Netherlands. Having seen what’s happening in Sri Lanka, we should be under no illusion that europe can’t have real shortages given the right stresses to the systems.
If you have a garden, I’d suggest starting to grow your own - you wont be able to be self sufficient but some fresh things would make life cheaper and more interesting if things do get tight.
I hope the Dutch drive over the border to the WEF HQ, seal every window shut and pump the whole thing full of liquid shit.

I remember there was a study a few years back from Italy (think it was Florence) charting the wealth accumulation and landowners from something like the 14th century in the region. To the surprise of no one the exact same families own all of the land and hold most of the wealth in Florence as 600 years ago. I imagine it's the same for most places in Europe.

That's two world wars and fuck knows how many smaller conflicts and you still can't wrest these leeches from wealth and power. The game is rigged and all that.

The Dutch government needs to see how that shit worked in Sri Lanka.
the sri lankan people have a lot of experience knocking out their leaders and just causing a ruckus, its like comparing Mormons to cartels because they both live in mexico. the Dutch higher ups don't have to be afraid of anything.

i mean how the fuck would the land be taken from the people that own it? its like a house, its in the family until someone sells it, except anyone with a brain knows not to sell a house unless forced. it took scams like reverse home mortgages to truely trick people into giving them up and people only thought up that scheme in the last 30 years and its meant for people with literally no heirs, even the stupidest people never give up their land or homes, so it makes a lot of sense for the same people in the same region that has been part of the same nation for so long to have the same stuff in their possession.

eminent domain and all that crap can take peoples stuff but its quite the hassle to do a lot of the time and the government usually has to payout a settlement anyways. how is it a rigged game for a family to own a farm for generations?

obviously its the american in me, but the proper response to some group of thugs with flimsy reasoning taking the family farm is a bullet to the head. doesn't matter if they're taking 40 acres, 1/4 an acre or 40k acres. obviously its different in europe where land is at a premium instead of useless dogshit like most of the US seems to be. If anything it seems that most of why europe has been fucked the last quarter millennia is that the power isn't in the land owners or people producing but the city folk coming up with wealth out of thin air. A lot of this land is more trouble than its worth if you aren't making anything with it, and there's a reason property taxes were a thing for centuries before income taxes were.

Farmers get a fuckton of gibs and everytime someone ask for something in return they start screeching, the fucking niggers of the economy

Also, how after everything that happened there are still people thinking lessening our dependancy on fossil fuels is not a priority is beyond me
Feel free to miracle farm grain in sand then.
Ja, gnade dir Gott, du Ritterschaft! Der Bauer stund auf im Lande...
It's being pretty much memoryholed here in Germany. Even the protests in Uzbekistan are mentioned, and most people here have probably never even heard of that country.
But nothing about significant protests directly at our borders.
How long before everyone starts calling the farmers fascist?
