𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

Is this to say that Musk didn't find the bots and is just going with the original offer, or is Twitter rushing to close the deal before Musk demands a discount?
They definitely gave him that discount or worked out something similar, but off the books to save face. I'd bet my left nut.

For them to vote unanimously? He has them by the balls.

He's a fucking genius. Everything else you said was right. The fucker is a marketing GOD. Anyone who thinks he's actually engineering anything needs the asylum though
Musk isn’t any more of an engineer that Steve Jobs was, and that’s a good thing because engineers should be doing the engineering, not running the company.

…so like, is this the end of the road as far as Musk and Twitter are concerned, before the government starts their meddling?

Small update.

Has anyone noticed that Elon seems to have gone completely silent on Twitter for about 5 days now? Kinda weird.
He's probably busy closing. Now that the takeover has become inevitable there's certainly going to be a lot of papers to sign and a lot of heads to chop.

Elon Musk Had Twins Last Year with Exec Shivon Zilis Just Weeks Before His & Grimes' Baby Was Born

That's ten kids now (but who's counting). In this article, I also discovered that one of his kids is named X Æ A-12.

Someone needs to take this man's penis away from him. He has proven himself incapable of using it responsibly.
Well, you can take the man out of Africa, but you can’t take the African out of the man…

Honestly, who cares if the worlds richest African-American has kids popping out of the woodwork. Think of al the fun we’ll have when he dies and the kids start fighting over daddy’s shit.

And the one trooned out kid gets nothing

Not directly linked to Elon Musk but some SJW and leftists might have some ulcers tonight once they saw that news.

GAME-CHANGER? Twitter FINALLY Loses Censorship Lawsuit Against Popular Conservative For Posting About COVID Vaccines

By Adam Wilson | Jul 7, 2022

Last December, former New York Times journalist Alex Berenson filed a lawsuit against Twitter after he was permanently banned for expressing skepticism about the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine.

He said that the Covid-19 vaccine “doesn’t stop infection. Or transmission”

Twitter was put on notice after the judge allowed the lawsuit to proceed against the social media giant, refusing to dismiss it.

Twitter ultimately settled with Berenson and reinstated his account, giving way to a significant victory for conservatives and free speech advocates.

The judge also set a potentially far-reaching precedent, saying that Twitter “breached its contract” with Berenson by banning him for speech that the company said was permissible under its guidelines.

If the precedent holds, it could allow social media companies to be sued for inconsistently or unfairly applying their content guidelines.

It's not like he can't afford to raise the kids, either.
How many is he actually raising versus just sending checks?

Of his kids, I think only two are over the age of 18, and one trooned out. Not a great track record. There's no guarantee that's a result of his dad not being there but it certainly didn't help.

And I say this as not quite a Musk fanboy, but certainly a respecter.

Yeah, the ToS is considered a contract as far as law goes.

I'm legitimately surprised there haven't been more lawsuits targeting that angle.
Who has the time and money to blow on fighting something as inconsequential as a Twitter ban in court?
