Trainwreck Jill C Noyes Rodrigues / David Rodrigues / Rodrigues Family Ministries / Rodrigues Family Serving Jesus / All Things Truth Printing Ministry - Batshit MLM-shill narc mom of 13 starving children and her jobless "headship". Grifting and drifting across the US in an RV. Wanted by WV CPS.

So, with all that said, my jaw dropped when I read that they're all "worried about her knees stiffening back up". That is SO FAR from something they need to be worrying about right now. If her mom does survive, which is not guaranteed, she is almost certainly not going to be the same person she was before.
I had to reread it bc I didn't think she would seriously be worried about stiff knees after her mom's aneurysm just ruptured. Is Jill in denial, low iq or just ignorant about medicine? At least she's not the Fit Vegan Ginger who would be trying to wake her up by shoving essential oils under her nose while comatose and how she needs yoga for her knees ASAP.

Well I hope Jill’s mom makes a full recovery so she can slap whoever took and posted that photo of her right before surgery with the breathing tube and lines all hooked up to her. That’s so disrespectful, just fishing for pity points.
If she survives, Jill is going to be retarded about it like she is about her sister's disability.

Jill has, of course, had Fat Dave drive her to the hospital for a quick photoshoot with her mother post-surgery. That poor woman needs rest, not the wailing prayers and gnashing of teeth by performative religious assholes.

Jill probably had a giant fight with hospital staff about needing to wear a mask, too. She doesn't believe covid is dangerous and that masks are for heathens.

The Bateses, darlings of the IBLP and stars of the blessedly short-lived TLC series United Bates of America and its UPTV successor, Bringing Up Bates, have or had an entire room in their house dedicated to the glory of the Confederacy. They referred to it as the "Patriot Room", and although it was never shown on television for obvious reasons, Kelly shared photos on her blog in the days before her husband and Jim Bob Duggar were locked in an endless public dick-measuring contest. The blog entry itself appears not to have survived the transition to Web 2.0, but there's one photo floating around.

The framed portraits depict notorious Confederate generals Stonewall Jackson and Nathan Bedford Forrest. Bedford Forrest was the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

Imagine having 20 kids and devoting an entire bedroom to shitty Confederate themed decor. I also cannot get over the "God Bless America" sign hanging right there with two literal secessionists.

You're absolutely right, it wasn't shown on TV, it was because they shared photos. It's been a long time so I was a bit fuzzy on the details.
@LonesomeDud They mostly avoided taking any accountability or giving a thoughtful response. There was something from someone in the family stating they enjoyed American history and the qualities of the men. Apparently only confederate soldiers were worth admiring, though. There was some backlash, obviously, and multiple fundies defended the family. I know I've seen other fundies romantacising the confederates and the south 'back in the good old days', whatever those were. If you were to ask on Free Jinger you'd get a lot of examples but not many people here still use the site because it's full of ads, sucks to use, and apparently has malware. I personally am pretty out of the loop these days because I don't visit the site, and it's been a long long time since I was active.

I think that's the Bairds of Girl Defined fame, who went to Austria and posed with their Nazi ancestor's grave and memoryholed the whole thing when someone googled the name on the tombstone.

It was definitely the Bairds.

I think Jill is being extremely naive and overly optimistic. She doesn't say what the small responses were, so it could be something like a hand movement or eye movement that even happens to people in persistent vegetative states. If she were awake and somewhat alert that would be a completely different story. I was pretty blown away that their primary concern was her knees. The lady will be lucky to walk again if she's even able to regain some function, and let's face it, it's extremely unlikely she will.
When my grandad had a stroke it wasn't even particularly serious and he almost completely lost the ability to speak and had to drink liquids mixed with a thickening agent for the rest of his life. He was already unable to walk due to amputation but his mobility was still impacted.

I was unsurprised to note how little respect for human dignity they appear to have.

Think she'll glug plexus down the feeding tube like a fratboy heading the beer funnel?
Oh, definitely. Jill will be highly concerned about her mother's weight while she's immobile, and post stroke downtime is the perfect time to become your own Boss Babe business owner! Just like she was shoving Plexus at Nurie two days postpartum.

Anyway, it seems clear that it was Jill taking the photos of her mother with the tunes down her throat, medical privacy or dignity be damned. Here are some additional posts from her Stories.

So which emojis should we press on the video of Jill sobbing all over her comatose mother? "Omg" or "soooo cute!"?

A SEVERE stroke🤯! Pray🙏 to GOD for her PRECIOUS SWEET mama and her STIFF LEGS🤕🥰🥰🥰

Jill is, of course, posting every little indignity her stroke ridden mother is suffering as if it's the hottest goss in town. It does appear her mother is able to voice monosyllabic replies which could be a good sign.

I just want to point out the difference between a real stroke recovery, and the fake strokes so many of our munchie lolcows claim to have suffered. Real stroke victims are not sent home from the ER a few hours after being given some fluids and instructions to see their primary care physician.

Did they ever say why they look up to these guys?
Stonewall was a very interesting, and Christian, guy. He started a Sunday school to teach black kids to read when it was possibly still illegal and definitely unpopular and was apparently beloved by those kids. He also collected dues for his church. He was very weird and autistic so folks would pay on time so he wouldn’t have to go to their house.

Realtalk but strokes are so scary, one of the scarier things our bodies can do to themselves, and I hate seeing anyone go from functional adult to "kay, hi, yes" like that. Also, waking up with a trach tube is one of my nightmares. VERY SCARE. MUCH HR GIGER.
Fuck yes. It is terrifying to think that our entire lives could change so drastically in an instant. I can't decide which is worse: knowing that something catastrophic could happen to any of us with no warning, or having advance notice that something is wrong and having to experience the progression of symptoms with full awareness of the outcome.

Also, if you or someone around you just doesn't seem right, trust your gut and don't hesitate to go to the emergency room. Sudden new or intensified confusion, difficulty speaking or moving, drooping or numbness of one side of the face, or changes in vision can all be indicators of a stroke or other serious neurological problem.

An excruciating, SEVERE (I'm sorry, I'm being serious here but I can't resist) headache that comes on without warning or provocation and peaks within a few minutes is often referred to as a "thunderclap" headache, and it can be an indication of something very bad happening in or near your brain, including a ruptured aneurysm. If you suddenly experience the worst headache of your life, you need to go to the emergency room. I promise they won't judge you.

Time is of the essence when your brain is broken. There's a saying, "Time is brain", and it's literally true. The longer the brain is deprived of oxygenated blood, the more cells die. The brain is pretty terrible at self-repair, and the vast majority of neurons that die cannot be replaced.

Remember the acronym BE FAST:
BEFAST-Stroke-Wide.jpg

My feelings about fundies, particularly the iblp variety nothwistanding I feel for her. I survived a stroke, I was conscious and oncei found out that it was in fact a stroke, can confirm that it is the most horrifying and life changing thing I've ever comprehended. Past the physical damage. It's fucking Lovecraftian. If dealing with brain damage isn't bad enough, you have to deal with your mind breaking. If anyone wants to know anything about it the experience talk to me. Resisting my urge to go on at length about it here.

Jill’s dad has created a GoFundMe (archive) for Pat requesting about $20k. Looks like the Noyes family moved in with severely quadriplegic Amy Foster and co. about 7 years ago.
Honestly, I feel for the Noyes/Foster clan to have 2 very dependent people to take care of. Luckily they have 34 grandchildren to help them out.
