How is the removal of the nipples even allowed? Seems like a botched surgery no matter what. Looks like medical malpractice, as someone who has basic knowledge about such cases.

Huh. It makes sense that she's a "they/them" rather than identifying as male, since apart from the boob removal, she still looks completely like a girl and probably isn't taking hormones because I don't see any facial/body hair growth in those topless mirror selfies. Guarantee she still gets "misgendered" all over the place. It's unbelievably sad that we live in a world where a young woman feels the only way she can truly be happy is to irreversibly alter her body and compel the speech of others. And people want talk therapy that addresses why these kids are really thinking these thoughts to be classified as "conversion therapy" and criminalised.I think the "something" that happened was her exposure to that whole world. Dr. Sieve probably tried to reattach the nipples after doing the mastectomy, and the blood supply didn't take. That's also a risk when competent surgeons do breast reductions, if they completely disconnect the nipple. (I knew a woman who had that done; her breasts beforehand were approximately the size of basketballs, and she said the nipples were about the size of tea saucers.)
Nipples should only be removed in total mastectomies for cancer.

She said that her breast reduction involved a wedge-shaped incision, with the top around the nipple, and they cut away the extra skin and never disconnected any of the "reattached" tissue from its blood supply.
Believe it or not, she was able to go home the next day, and she had it done at a hospital 100 miles away.

Did she seriously compare wound care issues to bruising and normal post surgical swelling and such? Yeah, no. Wound care issues are something that need to be addressed not left to 'heal on their own' and only an idiot relies on virtual consultations with a doctor who can't even be in the same room with them for any post operative issues of any kind. That she would even suggest such a thing is horrifying and entirely unethical
If you are having post surgical wound issues of any kinds see a fucking doctor asap ffs. and that goes for any medical procedure not just trooning out
