Here's my big prediction, Nobio Kishi (Abe's younger brother) will be the next Prime Minister.

Reasoning: Bobby Kennedy was no doubt set to be President of the USA until the CIA reconsidered. Netanyahu is the longest serving prime minister in Israel's history and that's in large part due to his brother getting killed by a team of Ugandan Knuckles.

If a national icon dies horrifically the brother will easily amass the support of the populace. And Kishi is currently Japan's Minister of Defense so he's all about the political game.

My second was this. And this freaks me out.

That being said he was very good for women's rights in Japan which are almost non existent when it comes to having government representation and trying to make the playingfield more fair because it's called "the bamboo cieling" there as you can't even see the top.

Every Japanese woman I've known who has stayed in America for a while especially if she's a salary woman has had a culture shock because you get treated more fairly here. You feel that you are seen as a person work wise.

Abe wanted to work towards 1/2 a female govt representation and that's not even something America or any other first world country would outwardly say. This was a long ass time ago though so don't twist this as to why it happened.

The care he took with women's problems and holding meetings to listen to Japanese women to hear their concerns was very touching for me. This is a country where saying "I don't want to wear pumps to work in my office job" was basically Haram and there was an entire movement led by a woman against being forced to wear heels in an office. That's the level of harshness we are talking about here.

I could go on and on but he actually made a lot of meaningful changes and changed his opinion on women's roles in Japan a lot over his reign. Friends of women are friends of Lesbians.
