Hmm, the puzzle has me scratching my head also.

They did a study on whether anyone would date/have sex a tranny.

The more I see of Mulvaney, the more I'm convinced he is 100% trolling, it's just that so many of them are actually like this that you can't tell he's putting on a charade.

IMO. I do not understand people like this being able to change legal documentation. I can't help but feel like there's medical issues that could arise from them being labelled as female when they're biologically male.

Like if he's ejected from a vehicle and the pavement decides to give him FFS. In an emergency situation I feel like being incorrectly gendered on legal and/or medical documents could be an issue.

Unfortunately, our current federal administration wants to make it even easier to change your personal status. Sex changes once per year without any medical/therapist paperwork, for everyone older than 14 -- and if the parents disagree, the matter is handed over to family court. It's quite infuriating.

I don't believe Mulvaney's dumb. The theatresphere is very trans friendly, so I think he'd expect his reputation to take a hit if he ever detransitions back into being a man. He could claim that it turns out he's been non-binary, but I can't imagine that'd sit well with his tampon sponsors. On the other hand, looking at his theatre credits he's mostly done secondary or ensemble bits (with the exception of Peter in Bare), with the most recent credit as an ensemble member in the second Book of Mormon national tour for less than a year (2019–2020). He might be able to do drag roles in the future, but given his looks and his voice I don't think there are going to be very many gender-affirming roles that suit him.
