Yea for whatever reason people forget how badly japan treated other countries. The rape of nanjing where they killed roughly 200k men, women and children also raping all the women and then takeing all the now dead families belongings by the way that was only 6 weeks of an 8 year war.

The only bad thing that happened from the bombings is it kinda shaped what future wars look like. Any major power now has a strategy that is try and advance with combined arms and when that doesn't work bomb the shit out of whatever is in front of you even if there is civilians.

The armor and riot gear worn by Japanese police does say "Police" in English for some reason.

I'm guessing we'll find out more as these stories get translated into English but that design is consistent with the muzzle loading electronic ignition piston he used.

I don't think even her most critical detractors realized just how deep the corruption went, and I doubt anyone will ever uncover the full extent of it either. But just think, if literally hundreds of children hadn't have died in the Sewol Ferry sinking (and video evidence being posted proving they did, because initially the government tried to say there were very few/no casualties at all), there would've been no spark, and she and the little shaman in her ear may never have been ousted. Or at the very least, it would've taken a lot longer for anyone to start digging that deep, and even longer for the news agencies to allow it to run.

Japan has its own issues in terms of political corruption and whatever, but at least Abe didn't go to a stylist and request that they make him look very stressed/disheveled after a national tragedy.

Because the US needs a casus belli to put on the plate next to the greasy big mac for its population of sociopathic muttlets to swallow up. It's always been this same pattern of behavior with the US. It's why there were US civilian passengers on a ship carrying war supplies to and from Britain in WW1, it's why there were constant conflicts with Germany and Japan prior to the US's entry into WW2, and it's why there were supposedly nuclear weapons in Iraq and chemical weapons in Syria. The US is a parasite that spreads by creating, exacerbating, or exaggerating conflicts and then attaching itself to said conflicts.
