At my college (which was admittedly not on the mean streets of Connecticut) the yearbook was only for people who specifically wanted to be in it - which meant the types who treated college like "High School Part 2", played on the sportsball teams, joined the clubs, and so on. Junior Hermit Phil was and is the exact opposite of that. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's not in there and I don't find it suspicious.

Agreed. I have 3 degrees and I appear in no year books so that cant count as evidence.

With that being said you can certainly find me in the commencement archives which most universities have so perhaps one of our sleuths can find him there. Whether you walk or not - your name is typically in that list. Just a thought.

On the bottom of his diploma it says May 23, 2004 is when he got the degree. Also it being in pure latin is not that sus since many schools do it especially older diplomas. What is interesting is when you look at yearbooks and sites stating who got degrees his name doesn't pop up. It is weird but who knows.

The only way to find out is if someone calls the school as a company trying to verify if he graduated with that degree. I am too lazy for that but if someone wants to confirm that then whatever. Just don't be rude to people and don't waste too much of their time.

Fairfield University is a Jesuit institution. It is not at all unheard of for Latin to be smeared all over anything associated with them.

The reason he's probably not finding anyone is because his connection is so shit that other players won't play him since they have their connections set to +2. If Phil is outside that threshold he won't find anyone.

You can tell Phil's never interacted with people who have shit going on in their lives with how he's bitching about whoever he gets matched with not being there. I have two degrees from two different institutions in two different counties and appear in no yearbooks. I didn't realize there were actual universities/colleges that did yearbooks, it seems like such a high school thing.

As @Pargon said, it's Jesuit. A private Jesuit university. They have weird Jesuit and Ignatius of Loyola dances and formals. It'd be weirder for the diplomas to not be in latin.

So I wanted to prove DSP wrong when he said his HOA fees went up seeing as how he use to pay 290 a month. Then bank leaks showed 370 a month. It also appears that they are due on the 15th of the month which is odd because most HOAs collect on the 1st of the month when mortgages are typically due but then again that could be standard there.

Well anyway- a unit in his community sold a couple of months ago identical to his for 650,000. The HOA listed is 465.00 so he even though his eyes were darting everywhere he might actually be telling the truth.

So he may not be lying about that BUT it does beg the question why he doesn't sell and profit 400k ? Even with no credit he could rent somewhere for 2 years, pay of all of his debt, and have 250k in the bank. The comps are there and it didn't take long to sell.

I know I know. He would be giving up gout mansion which is his anchor to being a mature adult but nothing says mature adult like financial freedom and 250k for some sweet hogan pulls.

I think he answered this during one of his begging sessions. He answered along the lines of how's he going to continue his "business" of streaming himself playing video games? He's not lying about the bill amount, but the amount of money he gets from YouTube monthly is more than enough to cover all his fixed monthly bills, including the HOA fees.

I think that ship has sailed. Looking at the current listings in his zip code show prices are already being lowered by 8-10% since April when your example was sold. Expect at least another 10-15% drop in value before EOY.

Let's face it. We know he was valedictorian of his high school (regardless of there only being 37 seniors in his graduating class) and it also appears he really did graduate college. It really makes you wonder how bad their educated system was for him to graduate HS with honors and attend college and still for him to come out so retarded.

Actually studies show 1 out of 3 people lie about something on their resume. 44% of people lie about education on their resume because only 34% of companies do education verification.

While I wouldn't put it past Phil to lie about it ....I also could see him scamming his way though college.

I wouldn't call it cringe. With everything he has lied about its okay to explore concepts and come to conclusions even if it turns out Phil was telling the truth. What's the old saying..."leave no stone unturned"

Phil is so used to lying now that it's his default mode of operation and his social isolation is only making things worse. I remember in one of the very early Steve of the Dead videos he said that you can't really analyze whether Phil is lying or not through his body language because it's just so bizarre and idiosyncratic, most likely because of social isolation. That's why you could probably ask him to tell general information about himself and he'd do all the 17 pantomimes that give a liar away (women have 20, guys have 17) by the time he has to state his date of birth.
