"We are calling you about your cars extended warranty."

They get money off those calls and all the phone lines. They don't care the numbers are being spoofed.

Same with when you see "SSI" on the caller ID or "FBI" for those scam callers.

Plus, some places charge $0.75 per number per month to block numbers.

What for? Is there something going on behind the scenes that we should be aware of that warrants him going over there?

It sounds like the usual "go to Yad Vashem, the Wall, etc., And then announce a "brand new" peace program (that's always a grift)".

I still can't believe Trump got a peace treaty between Israel and the Arab Emirates, the guy deserves a peace award for this level of politicking.

If Trump was anyone other than Trump, he would have gotten multiple Nobel peace prizes. But, well, TDS and all that.

At this point I'm fully convinced Biden is some sort of plant to destroy the Democratic party from within. One embarrassing unforced error after embarrassing unenforced error and all he can do is flail about complaining about why people don't recognize how great of a job he's doing or issuing power-grabbing executive orders that while lead to an inevitable BTFOing by the courts. I know the real reason behind why the administration does what it does is because it's level of contempt for America is on par with the level of Biden's dementia, but I can't envision anyone/anything that is capable of the level of damage Biden has wrought against his own party.

It's the end result after thirty years of eating their seed corn, figuratively speaking. @Gehenna has gone over this in better detail, but the TL;DR version is that the Democrats simply have no backfield, no depth in their ranks. And so they're forced to rely on older and older politicians. Worse, the survivors of the purges and the new bloods that have managed to claw their way in are more likely to go rogue (examples: Manchin, AOC).

It still amazes me that they were willing to let Biden be the standard bearer in 2020, though. Bernie must've been just too disruptive.

If by "disruptive" you mean "will take a dive to get a new house" than Bernie Sanders is an incredibly disruptive politician.

Yes and no. He definitely had his price for bowing out, no argument. But I wonder what made him less attractive as a candidate than our current pants-shitting, drooling, hair-sniffing so-called President?

He's not neo-liberal enough for the establishment. Sander's is a dyed-in-the-wool socialist, and the DNC is willing to court those types for votes, but not willing to actually give them what they want.

Because they were afraid he would cultivate the wrong type of blindly loyal masses of witless morons. The type of people who follow Bernie are the type who would be equally likely to ruin things for the Dems too so they can't be empowered, only manipulated as useful idiots. Berniebros would be more likely to stop our funding of Israel than anyone

I know you all are horrified by our politicians lack of understanding of firearms.

You all must understand that this lack of understand applies to literally everything. They just wave their magic wands and it happens. It's bad enough when they just try to regulate industry to "fix" things.

It's downright bone-chilling to see this lack of understanding in foreign policy and military issues.
