The Koshien draft starts in a little over an hour! This is where all the team managers get to fight over what other members of Nijisanji they get on their team.

I'm hoping Kagami chooses Pomu after she basically won him the tournament last time. No EN members were actually selected last year and were assigned teams through the roulette system.

Something to make note, is that the managers get three years in-game to prep. First year, second year and third year students have varying levels of stats. While it's up to them to manage the students from first year and refine the stats/training style, typically the game will throw the odd curveball and reward you with new students with next level stats into years two and three. So don't get too down if your oshi didn't get drafted. Because there is a very high statistical chance that those picked outright (to represent first year) don't even make it into the team.

I also found out that only Draft Rounds 1-3 are completely up to the managers, which is why Draft Rounds 4-7 didn't have any competing managers for the same person.

What happens is, 1-3 is a free-for-all to pick your most-wanted three members, and then the remaining pool gets split amongst them and they have to choose 4 from them. In other words, it's impossible for them to choose only their friends because each phase becomes more randomised.

Kagami probably WOULD HAVE picked Pomu, but she wasn't on his shortlist and that's why he got annoyed when Leos took her right before his turn. Similarly, Nui whined that Ibrahim took Hayase Sou etc. With that in mind, only Vox and Luca were the ENs chosen outright by the managers (and Luca was selected because Kuzuha lost Toko) and the rest were left to happenstance. Mysta, Uki, Fulgur, and Alban were in the roulette along with all the girls.

It's a good system to give them some members they really want and then shake up the teams. The only people who consistently get fought over are Kanae and whatever 2 members of Sanbaka aren't a manager.
