Why does it always have to be Times Square whenever people do shit for someone in the West? I'm guessing no reasonable person passing through Times Square would give enough of a shit about Vtubers to care, so is there something about getting ad space there that makes it a particularly good spot for a Vtuber fanbase to helicopter their dicks around? Because it kinda looks like people just throwing their money into a bigger firepit than usual.

I feel bad for Remilia. Judging by what she has shown us so far on Twitter, her model (and more specifically her rigging) is absolute garbage. Probably the worst I've ever seen from a company vtuber if I'm honest. I'm sure she'll have a few simps regardless, but I predict she's more or less going to be DoA.

This breaks my heart because I think her design is really good and she's very funny. I don't really care about the rigging, but I see this brought up so much that it probably will matter. To me the vtuber is just from shoulders up 90% of the time anyways and it's all about the voice and the personality. I hope the boss will get this sorted out and it's a bit disturbing they didn't already with such delays in gen 2 already.

I think it's not lewd in the technical sense and if he's willing to stand up for if it gets flag'd, he must think the design has more appeal value then the hassle. Really, she'll be waist up 90% of the streams anyways right? I do worry a little if it will draw too much coomer tourists though. I just find it odd how it's ALWAYS Erina showing up on Elira streams and nowhere else. Elira hardly invented the 'My model won't let you show me my other eye' bit but it is something synonymous with her, so a different person doing it in an ad for her stream is weird.

I probably wouldn't have noticed if she showed up at the start of a Rosemi or Enna stream. It just looks like the ads are lined up down to the micro of potential fan overlap, because people must like Elira solely because one eye is covered by her hair and I guess PC want that audience?

I got an Airi ad while trying to watch Fubuki Live2D 3.0 on mobile. At first, I was confused if this was the same Airi from PC or so indie with the same name. But after checking, yeah it's Airi from PC.

I’m fairly certain the vast majority of the “Rushia got into fights with other members” stuff was just a bunch of rrats created when Hololive fired her for talking about insider info. It’s just one of those fake rumors that hangs around because some people still believe it.

I thought she complained to Kore2 about bullying, and that it was a senpai who was good at fps games, which is how we got the Aqua rrat. I have only ever gotten ads for minor indies that nobody cares about, but i barely watch streams anymore so not reliable.

Yeah, yeah, Null's head height theory is not absolute, we know. But there's other things, too, like ratio of eye area to total face. In anime-style art you'll usually see "older" characters have smaller eyes.

At any rate, regardless of what Null thinks, that character design makes me uncomfortable, and I don't seem to be alone.
