They were even setting up Tron to be their new mainline scifi ip but quickly shelved it for eternity as soon as they got a hold of Star Wars despite commissioning a new series and dozens of multimedia projects which they abruptly cancelled. They had to chance to fuck over their own scifi ip and make their own crap, but the greedy opportunistic fucks weren't satisfied. And I have no doubt that Pixar in all their creative bankruptcy will try to make a godawful Wall-E sequel that reduces the charm of the original.

Hell even Crystal Star could be made into a better flick than Disney's crap. You already have a basic transcript, all you need is the right amount of editing, spice up the dialogue, a good director and mixing Waru and the eponymous star up a bit and you're basically set.

Not gonna lie guys, I want Disney to reboot/remake the OT. Why?
Not because its going to be good, but because we know we wont be...and it must happen. It must happen because I feel like that would be one of the biggest mistakes they can make as not even the most basic bitch would be able to ignore.

I feel like we reached a point where everything has to fall apart for the passive masses to fucking do something. And even then, who knows if they even will then

I only want an OT remake/reboot if they claim that the disney sequels and DEU are sequels/prequels to them. It would be such a wonderful dumpsterfire of confusion that any added schadenfreude would be icing on the cake.

If Disney had any balls they would have done this in the first place. Makes it easier to differentiate from the actual Star Wars. But no, they had to drag the OT and PT into their garbage for maximum nostalgiabux. Making it a straight up remake would have allowed them to do whatever they wanted without shitting on the OT in the same way. But they made more money shoving Harrison Ford all over the movies.

The funniest thing is that during an interview someone even asked him why he and Disney don't just make their own original scifi ip if they won't even bother to follow the lore, games, films or even a single iota of George's original vision, to which he actually admits would make more sense, but just goes along with it because of the publicity while outright admitting what I've known about the fags at Disney from the start, they're all too damn lazy to not only read a fucking a book but can't even bothered to watch a 2 hour film. All I want is either a Clone Wars movie, with de-aged via makeup or CGI trickery or whatever Hayden, Ewan, and Natalie or a horror-type movie with Vader as the primary antagonist.

That's all I want.

I don't give a FUCK about any of the other stuff. I really don't. Why is it so hard for Disney to do something right?
