I don't know if it was ever posted, but these two are getting $355/month in SNAP benefits plus during the pandemic, an extra $104 each month. How the fuck two people are going through $459 in just a few weeks, even with all the soda and crap she buys, is beyond me.

You're correct. I don't know when Alabama discontinued the pandemic EBT (my state stopped a couple months ago), but that was certainly a thing at one point. Polissa claims that it was just her getting SNAP, but unless she was counting just herself as a household, Josh has to be getting SNAP too. I doubt Josh has absolutely no benefits. Restaurant workers are often on the dole even when working because their base pay is absolute shite (and was even pre pandemic).

Food costs have gone insane too, but man, $355 is still pretty damn good for a two person household.
It'd be tight and there's stuff that isn't covered (household cleaning products, pet stuff, etc) and it would be harder without a stove/oven but... it's doable.
Lots of Polissa ranting in speech to text. I'll let y'all have fun picking out the typos on your own. She has also brought back the idea of bankruptcy and divorcing Josh. Pay up, bitches!
Tragic backstory:
I never want to doubt someone's abuse story, but with lolcows and e beggars, I always have to take it as a grain of salt. Fuck.
Question: my only experience with diabetes/neuropathy is in much older relatives who are going through bodily decline anyway. Is it common for someone in their 30s to already be neuropathic?
It is if you continually don't treat it. Find the underlying cause and do something about it, which generally involves washing your clothes, yourself, your living space, eat healthy. The real horror here is that Polissa probably wears underwear for several days or weeks without washing. Yes, PCOS can make you more susceptible to yeast infections. No, PCOS doesn't make them more resilient to treatment.
Are we talking about a vaginal yeast infection? I’m so confused. Why would she need to replace her clothes, not just her underwear? She should set the animals free and burn the whole place down.

It's not the overall years, it's the (uncontrolled) diabetes years. Sometimes peripheral neuropathy is the first symptom that someone (who doesn't get to the doctor much) ends up seeking treatment for.
Fellow e-begger and unrepentant spaghetti lover Lou Gagliardi has had painful peripheral neuropathy since his mid-30s.

You can get yeast infections on your skin that aren't inside your vagina. You can literally get a yeast infection in your armpit. It doesn't have to be down stairs (Yes even the outside skin can get a yeast infection). But no matter where it is, you can treat it. Pretty easily as long as you go to the doctor for an anti fungal and wash yourself and your clothes. Which, ya know polissa isn't gonna do anytime soon.

I would say no, I've been type 1 for over 30 years and just last year got any indication of neuropathy, but Lou Gagliardi and this asshole seem to be on a different level of diabetes than I'm aware of.
And Aunt Carol is right, didn't think about going uncontrolled.
She's too unimportant for even the Twitter tards to care. She needs to start saying she's some kind of indigenous gender queer tranny if she wants any real traction on her tweets. She spergs often enough about muh family land, just insert a fake identity or two in there.

On that note, it was probably a huge mistake to mention family land in the first place. While not necessarily true, most people (especially city people and the kind who would be handing out gimme bux on twitter) associate generational property with family wealth. She's shown her hand that she's probably not as bad off as she claims. Not only that but she has family willing to help her out, so why should strangers on twitter?

"...You put me in this situation now get me the fuck out of it! I worked! I did everything right! I still got sick and disabled! You give me crumbs now!"
Nowhere is it promised that because you "did everything right," you're not going to be struck down by disaster. That's not a US-specific thing; that's life, and life is not fair. Most emotionally-mature adults know this; it's why we have things like insurance.
I can understand her anger at the "crumbs" that is disability. I know people on SSDI, formerly working adults who used to have decently-paying jobs who now legitimately cannot work to support themselves, and it's appalling how little they get. Granted, they're also hooked into programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and Section 8 housing, but still, it's a pittance.
But Polissa lives in a relatively cheap part of the country. She should be able to get by on the benefits she gets. That she doesn't is largely due to the absolutely terrible decisions she makes—including far more pets than even a lot of well-off people could afford to properly care for, and her abysmal food habits that only make her poorer and sicker.
So she's angry about her circumstances, and blaming the government for not giving her more, and bitter that other private citizens won't subsidize her, but at the end of the day, she's the creator of most of her own hardships. She's her own worst enemy.
God, she reminds me so much of a personal lolcow of mine. Both of them describe shitty childhoods with abusive trash parents. And, like my pet cow, I suspect Polissa has transferred her unfulfilled childhood desires to be reliably cared for and indulged by her parents onto her Uncle Sam, and strangers on social media. There's a child who didn't get what she wanted, and might not have got a lot of what she needed, living in that 39-year-old body, and she's still furious that other kids get nice things, and she doesn't.
I forget, and am too lazy to look: is she T2 diabetic, yet? She's got to be well on her way to it, if she's not. That's a risk factor for yeast infections. If she's not she's still subsisting largely on sugarwater, which would keep her BG levels elevated most of the time. Between that and the permanent unaired swampcrotch all fatties have, yeah, it's no fucking wonder she's got chronic yeast infections.
She doesn't need to throw out all of her underpants and clothes to get rid of the yeast infection; she needs to change her underwear at least once a day, and wash it in boiling water. Some women swear by a soak in hot baking soda solution, followed by a vinegar rinse. Others iron their underwear so the heat kills the yeast. Whoever told her she needs to throw out all her clothes and get new ones has probably decided she's just too stupid and too much of a nasty slattern to wash anything properly. Of course, that's assuming somebody else told her that, rather than a fabrication or exaggeration or lie of omission on Polissa's part.
Most of her followers appear to be other e-beggars trying to "crowdfund" their shitty existences through "mutual aid." They aren't calling Polissa out on her fucked-up shit because then somebody might call them out for their own fucked-up shit. Some of them might even be degenerate enough to see nothing wrong with Polissa's living conditions or how she treats her animals.
There's another woman from Alabama who replies to her occasionally, who seems relatively normal, but she never questions anything Polissa claims or does. I don't know what's up with that.
I think Polissa is referring to Candidal Intertrigo? It's basically like diaper rash, but chronic and under/around skin folds (under the breasts and by the groin being particularly common) and aggravated by candida fungus. Very common with deathfats. She basically needs to be on top of her hygiene to treat it. Daily showers, medicated powder/cream, better diet, change her underwear/bra. The whole nine yards. But if she's basically trashing clothes and refusing to bathe after surgery, then she's certainly not taking care of it.
A reminder of what ol Polly looks like.
I've seen filthier looking cows, but this isn't exactly great either.
By the way, she claims to not have Diabetes herself, but rather "hypoglycemia." So her blood sugar is fucked either way. That being said, being obese and/or diabetic definitely raises the risk of someone having intertrigo (especially the yeast infected sort).
