Those are some court docs I really want to see
I looked into it recently and I don't think it ever went to court. The child was born in January, after divorce was finalized in December but before the wedding with Jon in March. This makes her a nonmarital kid whcih can fall under Wis. Stat. § 48.41(2)(c)
(c) A person who may be, but who has not been adjudicated as, the father of a nonmarital child may consent to the termination of any parental rights that he may have as provided in par. (a) or (b) or by signing a written, notarized statement which recites that he has been informed of and understands the effect of an order to terminate parental rights and that he voluntarily disclaims any rights that he may have to the child, including the right to notice of proceedings under this subchapter.
No court appearance needed
. This makes Pat's version of events much harder to believe regarding having "fought" for her, in my humble opinion. Had Pat given up his rights before a judge—because of muh mentals or whatever excuse he has—and then changed his mind, not much to do. It's
much easier to convince a judge that a privately produced document lacked due diligence rather than a court having messed that up, though.
But Pat never took his alleged regret to court, there's no case about it to be found in the Wisconsin Court Access system. Didn't even try to argue he was not of sound mind at the time or that he didn't fully understand what he was signing, his GPA being exhibit A of his lack of reading comprehension skills.
It's just another phony online roleplay of his and, just like his Twitter debates, he has to keep his position super vague because otherwise it's clear he's full of shit. "I fought for her" how? He'll never elaborate.
2012 is the year he bought himself the Mustang too, instead of paying child support, so no excuse about being too broke to hire an attorney.
