It's an uncommon glitch that's been happening for years, when two image posts are made on the same board at the same time the thumbnails might switch
I'd say check the post number one above and one below yours to see if one has the corresponding image and got your thumbnail, but given the content it could be intentional by the mods in this instance, who knows.

Again, expectations aren't high for 4chan staff, but what's more likely, that they're in cohoots with the autistic cuck who they've been banning for longer than half of the site's userbase has even been alive, or that they're generally sick of dealing with him and are fine with taking crude shortcuts to avoid dealing with his bullshit and giving him minimal attention? Yeah, I think Occam's razor wins in this case, its basically impossible for me to prove they're in some sort of agreement, and the evidence I've accumulated so far only suggests the mods dont want him to be discussed in any matter. However, it seems like their methods ended up producing the opposite result, due to the Streisand effect. My main question is why they dont just add a spam filter with the most common bbc spam phrases, instead of banning his username or filtering his name. Rugga used his trip, but he basically never posted "ruggadagod" in any very old archive I could find, so there's no evidence to suggest that it was ever an issue for the site, the only thing which makes sense in lieu of his behaviour is to nuke the trip name permanently. Most of what I've experienced, however, can more easily be attributed to incompetence as opposed to malice, as I cannot prove their intent. However, it is apparent to me that the moderation team is compromised to a considerable extent. The ultimate consequence of their practices is that the spam gets left longer up than the people trying to expose the spammers, essentially rendering the userbase who is not aware of the gayops being undertaken completely clueless for as long as the spammers want to spam. If the entire site is aware of the extent of these operations, then they will be much less likely to respond in the manner that the operators desire, although there will always be autists screeching. In the current state of things, you have people trying to expose the spammer + innocent new fags + spammers, which results in the spam continually operating due to the response. To be absolutely fair, this is actually good for the site, so I can see why mods dont give a fuck regardless of their compromised nature.

It could very well just be janitor incompetence or just that no jannies were online at the time, but this thread is very strange to me. It stayed up for over an hour and probably a good 80% of the board had seen it, meaning a lot of reports. It also contained zero political elements and the OP contained IR porn, alongside many subsequent posts. It was also filled with many ips posting the pornography, so I believe it likely to be a result of a discord spamming operation. This is an anomaly, however, as almost every single blacked thread ive seen gets banned after about 10-30 minutes, with a few reaching 40 minutes. This is in contrast to the posts exposing the spammers, which originally, if you posted "ruggadagod" you would get a 30 day ban instantly and most posts exposing josh I saw got deleted after 2 minutes. The primary exception being the thread in which I discovered the filter first, which was allowed to stay on the board until it slid off.


Not to mention jannies just banned me for doxing when I literally just posted: "joe nuts" with a doom guy gif

Agree. And a good part of this is due to literal bots taking over the place. This is from when the new captcha was implemented, which made activity drop by half in the first day alone (for example, BBC threads on /pol/ stopped being created all at once for some time, twitter screencap threads shills on /v/ etc). It's almost unbelievable, dead internet theory is real.

Needless to say, captcha was cracked day1 by /g/ and then the posting returned to normal (I have more screenshots).
Something other that influences this is the amount of people, shills, that have nothing to do with the mediums in the site and are there.... because? As instance, /pol/ was memeing that Abe's shooter was.... Kojima. Believe it or not, some people not only ACTUALLY believed this, but made articles or even broadcasted on television that he had killed Abe.

So yeah, it was fun before but internet magic died in late 00s. Because of completely inept posters that know jackshit - as in: tourists - and cancer mods killing the site, 4chan is a virtual diarrhea.
