Gonna say no or only heard about him through very left-wing circles that kept on calling him a facist. All I know is that Abe did support uping the military budget in Japan, which is very controversial for historical reasons, but not much of his domestic policies other than the "have sex" meme that wad floating around.

Does Lily know that this Ray person is, like, 16? Considering the fact that Lily is trying to push the idea that she has a fanbase full of adults, propping up non-Anonymous asks from a teenager (remember that Lily chooses what Asks are visible to people that visit her blog) seems like a bad move.
They're also trying way too hard to speak Lily's language, saying, "It was 2010, anime from that time is just like that" as if an implied panty shot is the end of the world.

I really, really, do not get what's supposed to be funny about this. Even as an insult ("yeah, that is the funniest thing you've ever written, and I still didn't crack a smile") it doesn't work. There's not even an attempt at humor here, I don't even get the joke. I'm trying to rewrite it, in my head, to actually be funny, but I have no idea where the funny is supposed to be. That's how aggressively unentertaining Jerry is, the more bland it is the more he likes it.
I'm trying to picture a Family Guy joke, where Peter smacks a guy in the head with a baseball bat, and then turns around and sees Chris do it, and he's like "huh, I wonder where he learned that from". Is that the joke? Is this the caliber of "funniest thing you've ever written", where someone copies someone else and that person is cartoonishly ignorant of that fact? Because even that hypothetical Family Guy joke I just made up is way funnier than this. Every aspect of the joke is funnier. It's punchier, more straightforward, and the author knows it's bad behavior. But it's still not fucking funny. The Aliana version is impressively unfunny.

I get the feeling the more her art continues to deteriorate because of Peet. The more likely she will start questions. Something sociopaths like him cannot stand. It happened with Lizzy and at this rate, it will happen with Mikai. And that is going to be a eventful month when it does happen.
It's clear he got this from Moviebob once he began letting his real thoughts out. Not helped by the fact of his childhood being as shit as it was. There is a clear resentment toward people that (in his mind) wronged him, or stood up against his brilliance. Peet has never able to let go of the past, and might never do so. His large ego, and inability of accept when he is wrong is what is making him sloppier when it comes to keeping his cult.
That's why him relating to serial killers is not surprising. He is fucked on the head.

That pixel art conundrum was a little sad. If you scale by percents like 200, 300, etc. it should be a rounded increase in size. It was blurry because the program didn't know how to stretch them.
What version of flash even is that?

She's using Adobe Fireworks. It has beeen discontinued in 2013.

The interesting thing is that the general consensus in websites like tumblr is that more brown/black people should be treated like princesses that need love and help. thats an oversimplification, but the idea is that black and brown women are shown as more violent, brute and less deserving of care and help bcz theyre the strong sassy black woman, shes the sassy black best friend to the white lead thats looking for love. anthy is pretty much the inverse of this, a brown woman portrayed as beautiful and charming, suffered abuse that is portrayed as horrendous and the end shows that the love she received from utena gave her confidence to stand on her 2 own feet and to look for a place in the world that she belongs to and is treated as she deserves (which she obviously think its by utenas side but it doesnt actually end with them rejoining)
the interesting thing is that lily knows this. im pretty sure that theres a post she made in which she states she made aliana more vulnerable and open to love bcz people told her of this trope and she wanted to make a more sympathetic, emotional black protagonist

Don't trust anyone who gives writing advice if they can't name people in the professional field they respect.
I'll keep this brief since it's sort of power-leveling but also because SU discourse isn't something I'm interested in engaging with anymore:
The length of time for each episode absolutely limited its storytelling potential. If you were to actually break down each episode, you'd see they're structured decently compared to their other 11 minute contemporaries, it's just that SU was often too ambitious for its own good and there were too many elements to cover in one season of twenty five 11min episodes.
The story is also retardedly simple, it's just about two families dealing with grief framed by a cosmic cold war. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

you need to imagine this scene as a cartoon. imagine that aliana just got news that rey is enfangering herself and her friends. aliana's face grows confused, dramatic music swells and aliana asks "wow, how did this happen, where did she get this?" and the music stops and the shot cuts to everyone making this face
