Her "chronic pain" is her GERD, which she could easily manage with medication and diet changes. Instead, she tries to use it as an excuse to fall into the disabled crowd, which is incredibly insulting to people who actually live with debilitating chronic pain.
JFC is that what she means? She's said it herself that she can have an operation, but she doesn't want to be on the soft food diet for the few weeks afterwards. GERD doesn't count as a disability. She doesn't even get esophageal spasms!
The worst part of her "chronic illness" is occasional acid reflux or stomach pain and then complaining about how it keeps her up at night. She treats any amount of discomfort like the worst pain ever and complains that her stomach hurts from eating spicy food her parents made for dinner (she can't be bothered to cook or steep tea in hot water for literally five minutes, even though she's "living on her own" now). Grow up, Staph.
Or because sometimes your body hurts and is uncomfortable from a long day of doing nothing and remaining stationary.
