I used to work with someone who, like Olly, was physically incapable of talking about anything without making it about himself or trying to highlight how cool and connected and busy and successful he is. We all hated him but he was so enthralled by the sound of his own voice that he was oblivious to the idea that people might not actually like him as much as he loved himself. One day he started telling this other guy, "I have this project-" and the guy he was telling just cut him short with "-you don't have shit". That elicited one of the longest laughs I've ever had as it turns out he in fact didn't have shit and admitted as much, possibly due to the suddenness and bluntness of the challenge.
I long for the day someone Olly knows will call him out and tell him "you don't have shit Olly. You're just a semi-famous man with a lot of free time pretending to be a famous busy woman".

I don't consider myself an especially sensitive person when it comes to being grossed out. But there's something about using people's actual life circumstances as fap fodder that makes me sick to my stomach.
