if they had known they would had probably gone for a better candidate
They didn't  have a better candidate. At least, not one the people behind the throne could reliably control. For all his faults, Bernie is still an outsider and enough of his own man to cause them problems, while surf mommy was never going to fall into line.

we could have had bernie sanders as president.
instead we're playing weekend at bernie's with bidens propped up corpse.

Millennials outnumber Gen X in terms of raw numbers but I'd make a bet on Gen X having larger numbers of consistent regular voters than millennials, especially the turbo-woke Late Millennials who'd be most inclined to vote for Bernie in 2020.
Just taking a peer observation, it is pretty clear that the Dems pool of voters comes in the weird area between late X and early Millennial. Gen X is primarily split between Reagan and Clinton type candidates, which kinda funnel into the same type at this point as you have the Xer Dems that will now simp for a Romney and many Reagan types that will go for the not Trump pick.

Boomers have always been pretty red, and they seem to compromise a good chunk of Trump’s base, likely due to many losing jobs overseas or to migrants as they were not as much the college educated generation that X is. Trump is also the closest they have come to another Reagan personality-wise, but doesn’t come with the baggage of being connected to his shit so they can actually get young voters, keeping the side they are loyal to alive.

Millennials are super split. Many of the late ones go for old politics, hell, my cousin was on Facebook talking about how America didn’t deserve a birthday after Roe V Wade, but then he was reminded of an Obongo quote which fueled his activism. Late Millennials and early Zoomers comprise the Trump & Bernie bases, meaning there is split. I think after 2016, a good chunk of that audience just went to Donald because Bernie started going further left and many assumed the Dems would remove him anyway making his campaign a fruitless endeavor.

Remember when all those people thought Joe was just some kind of trojan horse to backdoor Kamala into the presidency and he would quickly resign, now here we are and he has a fucking death grip on his throne and people forget Kamala exists most of the time

Well, the "Ten Years of Kamala" theory still holds true the longer Biden stays in office. That or Hillary is THAT egotistical that she won't let anyone other than her have the clout of "first female president". That or Nixon has forever tarnished the image of a POTUS resigning. Take your pick.

Even if Joe "steps down" next year, I can't imagine Kamala winning in 2024 even with fortification.

Hilarious that the Dems passed 4 years calling trump a degenerate and wanting a piss tape of him and now you have the son of the democrat president making sadpanda look tame in comparison
Everything is a projection until proven otherwise.
This needs to be codified into law. I'm calling it Bunnies Law.

They are going to push Newsom.

You can take that to the bank.
This, he's already doing ridiculous grandstanding virtue signaling like giving free healthcare to illegals at the same time that absolutely terrible shit like AB5 is going down. He's definitely a candidate.

Well, I imagine he's pretty easy to campaign against at least.

"You don't want the entire country to be like Los Angeles or San Francisco."

I was expecting the whole Roe v Wade fiasco to shake up awake some dems but it only got worse that was THE issue to rally his base, i don't think there's anything else (barring some future unforeseen opportunity) that'll get Biden rates back up
It did shake up the Dems for a bit, but that it took the Biden admin two weeks to come up with any kind of actual response (an EO that was a toothless promise to protect the right to cross state lines and get your abortion), all but immediately bled away what energy the reversal created.

They're mad at him now because of it, too. Why do you think the media has spent the past few days suddenly bringing attention to Biden's advanced age and questions of his mental stability? We went in 3 days, LITERALLY 3 days, from "Give Biden a Break" to "Biden's age has become an uncomfortable issue for him and his party". He's not going to be the 2024 nominee. He might have the 25th amendment thrown at him after the midterms are over, if they don't strong-arm him into resigning with some semblance of dignity.

Gavin may be a true believer, but he’s a white guy. The arch enemy of the left.

I'm glad you pointed this out. I noticed the same thing this morning and almost couldn't believe it. Can't tell whether or not this means the media covering his ass is done for good, but it was a stark change of pace.

Yep, the shining jewel on Lenin's rule was the vicious and brutal murder of the Romanov family and is of course outshined by Stalin's years and years of continued suffering. The Romanov's weren't perfect but the way they butchered them was cruelty beyond measure. It's actually one of the driving reasons that the Japanese because more staunchly anti-Communist.

To them the murder of the Romanov's was seen as depravity of the highest order especially among the public who revered their emperor like a god and the thought of touching a hair on his head was almost on par with deicide, let alone killing him and his whole family.

If that was what Communism meant then the people of Japan wanted nothing to do with it and with good reason on their part and that in turn would give the militarists and nationalists more opportunity to seize power.

I would, in fact, like to know more about Lenin and his actions. Got any sources?
