Do you find it wholesome or weird?

Nothing more japanese than weeds and shit growing everywhere and random sticks scattered on the ground. Also this retard will burn all their vegetables, mark my words.
"It's wabi-sabi, baka gaijin!"

Except that when your house looks like a shithole, then it actually tends to turn the neighborhood into a shithole too as all the people that don't like living in/next to shitholes pack up and leave as soon as they can, and the people that typically do live in shitholes (read: losers, criminals, deadbeats, etc) move in because the value of housing in your neighborhood is cheap as hell now because nobody decent wants to live there.
Broken windows policing works on a similar principle.

Wait… These people think THAT is what an anxiety attack looks like?!

Just laying down like a toy bunny that needs new batteries.

Ffs, I thought redditors would know better than anyone what mental illness and anxiety looks like, lol!
They're munchies. They think "feeling nervous" is an anxiety attack, being sad about their shitty lives is depression, and being shy is autism.
Most reddit users wouldn't last a day with an actual mental illness. Two hours in and they'd 5150 or off themselves.

haha this stuff used to make me rage but now its just funny. Men don't have to get enraged and lash out, all we have to do is stop maintaining society. Good luck using any of your modern day amenities when men don't run the oil rigs, when men don't plumb, when men stop being boilerplaters, garbage collectors, and all the other jobs that almost no stronk independent woman will go within 50 miles of. But of course these retarded femcels think society is run solely on their make-work excel inputting office "careers".
I’ve only encountered four (4) female electricians in my entire career. I’ve worked with two. One was fired for “not retaining instructions” and the other one seems to have a reputation for being “that person” you don’t want to work with.

I’ve never met female drywallers or plumbers or welders. I’m sure they exist, but not down here.

I've met several of all the above, but I'm wondering if it's a regional/average-income-level thing.

I’ve never worked in a larger metropolis/district/local and admittedly the “culture” down here is vastly different compared to the places up north since it’s very non-union and “right to work” dominant here. Even the guys in my local and my coworkers aren’t exactly “oh fuck yeah union pride I gotta go to the meetings and pay my dues that’s super important guys”. The reason I say that? Because I’m pretty sure that there’s a lot more female and “they/them” trades”people” in the north or in larger cities and it probably coincides with the more zealous version of the approach to the union thing.

Down here whether you’re in a union or not regardless of your trade your primary emphasis is on getting the job done right and fuckin getting paid. From what I’ve heard about other larger cities they would pitch a fit if they worked half as hard as us, did half the shit we do (“Im not gonna do concrete work, that’s not electrical work”) or listened to half as many gay cock jokes as we make. You’re probably not gonna find the whole “all LGBTQWXYZ and female lives are valid and matter 😌” shit at some non union open shop down here that pays their foremen $18/hr.

I genuinely debate the option of dragging up and working in a larger city, but I always end up realizing that I’d have to be a lot more careful with my words and actions compared to where I am now. that and I’d have to learn how to survive in a bughive. But apparently guys from here who go to bigger areas end up becoming foremen instantly, since we’re not useless.

r/sexoffendersupport is fantastic and somehow doesn’t violate TOS.

5’4 manlet charged with possession is scared about his future life in prison getting assraped:
At the risk of invoking Mutt's Law, his fear is probably correct. Most people are going to do fine in prison, or at least survive it with an intact anus. Some tiny little manlet the Booty Warrior can pretend is a girl, though? Lmao, that dude is getting raped.
The last couple of years, right around the time where the Indigo sisters boycotted the festival, the organizers started denying that they were discriminating and sent out press releases that they were tranny-friendly, but there was blood in the water at this point. Finally the organizers went “fuck this” and closed it down.
It's almost like troons are absolute fucking cancerous garbage who nearly instantly destroy any group that lets them in.

Redditors understanding of mental illness is incredibly lacking. It is why they eat up any retard coming in and saying they have X illness.

Why do you think so many of them make up nonexistent shit like aromantic/asexual in posts about people with contact issues. Could this person have underlying issues with intimacy? Naah they don't like sex.

It's all so bizarre.

I won't PL, but I will say that the Mason-Dixon isn't the only division worth looking at. Other areas of the US (and the world more generally) have more blue-collar ladies, but without the same things you discuss about the larger cities.
Think more "woman named Debbie who's shaped like a fridge and sounds like she smokes 6 packs a day" and less "My pronouns are they/them and I support worker's empowerment!"

That's shitty. I wonder if some women go into male-oriented trades figuring they'll get a "pass" for shitty work due to being female. I've seen quite a few men in healthcare who seem to have the same attitude... they figure because they're rare in the industry, they'll get a pass for being mediocre. Often times they do get a pass for fuck ups that would get a female employee written up, but then they eventually seriously fuck up and then get fired. The normal hard-working dudes get promoted pretty quickly, though.

I'll bet there are women out there who could do the smaller-scale jobs that require precision and not so much bulk strength, but they are steered towards other types of work early in life-- or they just become hobby artists. The type of women who'd be good at those kinds of things are the types who love their creative hobbies, are nitpick-y about details, and would be mortified at the though of leaving a job half-assed.

My dad was one of those house-flippers-by-hobby and often recruited his multiple children, including daughters, into his shenanigans. We girls were excellent at the stuff that didn't require bulk strength. He didn't encourage us to go into trades, though-- my brothers went that route.

$18 an hour for a foreman? Jesus. People get paid more to wipe old people's asses in the old age home where I live.

depends a lot on how politicized and woke the field they're getting into is, both in general and in their location specifically

like, if youre a woman and go into IT at a large corporation in a metropolitan area, you'll get insane levels of preferential treatment, you'll be practically immune to getting fired no matter how shit your work is, and you will be lined up for promotions at lightning speed because these organisations are all super desperate to raise their "number of women in senior technical positions" stats so the executives can brag about diversity to their politician friends at dinner parties

but if you sign up for bricklaying work at a construction site in a small town and try the same approach, you're unlikely to make it far, cause as soon as you start half-assing the job your coworkers (who have to pick up the slack) will make your life hell until you fuck off again

tbh i'd rather work at a contruction site for $5 an hour than wipe boomer asses for $50 an hour

I'm surprised there's not a thread for the r/replika freaks. Just stumbled about it today

Replika is some app that let's you create a character to talk to, and the character learns the longer you socialize it. I guess if you're real desperate, you can pay for it to e-fuck you.

The replika sub is full of people who are in love with their characters. No, like literally love them to the point they seem to forget they're not real. They post pictures of their "girlfriends," superimpose them over parks and events so it looks like their cartoon monstrosity is with them in real life.

Some of the people are really creepily abusive to their characters.

It's fascinating. If anyone's interested I'll get more shots later since I can't right now, but here's a little teaser of the patheticness that goes on there

The one girl in my class when I was in an apprenticeship program basically joined and started working in the field because her dad is an electrician. And let me be clear, I’ve worked with hard ass 55 year old, boomer ass old school dudes who have no problems with a girl on the crew, as long as she works. If they need help lifting something heavy then okay whatever, some of us dudes are weaker/stronger than others, so we help anyone who needs it when we can.

But I’m just basically gonna echo the same unoriginal sentiment: it’s sold as “cool” and “glass ceiling shattering” for women to enter “male dominated careers”- - where it’s either socially “sexy”, or where you can fraud your way to the top and manipulate others into doing your work and covering your fuckups. You don’t really get that opportunity with construction. You can make it seem socially cool with the whole “yeah I’m a hard workin badass, I eat nails and shit out fire” type thing but at the end of the day you’re gonna have to wake up at 4-5am and you’re gonna have aches and pains like the rest of us. That’s a raw deal for that type of grifter-woman compared to “working” for LinkedIn where you call showing up to a 9am meeting “going in early”, and your workplace serves you fruit cocktails and oatmeal before your gay little zoom group call where everyone sings a showtune before the “work” starts.
