Exactly. There's a chance that this hypothetical child will do well, but that's all it is. What happens most of the time, however, is the little one contributing to our crime rate later in life.

Like I said, I'd prefer to eliminate that risk rather take chances.

If this is the case why not just kill babies that get dropped off at fire stations? They're still not aware of anything like a fetus, and they're going to be an unwanted foster kid. So why not kill babies too?

I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't have the heart to kill the baby after they were brought into the world. Not to mention, that it can feel pain.

At least with abortion, you can kill the fetus before it develops the ability to feel pain.

Abortion is a bad thing. I think people would generally agree that it is not an ideal thing. However, just because something is bad does not mean it shouldn't be allowable.
