Milo receives the Sacrament of Confirmation tripling down on the Catholic trad LARP. For those who aren't a part of the One True Faith Milo would have gone through several hoops to do this.

For One Confirmation are usually done by bishops in English not by priests in Latin. in fact Pope Francis felted the trads recently with a whole bunch of extra restrictions on their practices. Why the Archbishop of Detroit allowed this sacrilege blasphemous fake sacrament we may never know.

Any idea if it was a priest from that church? I'd like to think none of them were related to the church and just came in real quick for the video.

I thought literally everyone hates this current pope and doesn't give a shit what he decrees?

The guy sitting is Rev. Canon Jean-Baptiste Commins, Rector of St. Joseph Shrine in Detroit where Milo got confirmed. The guy standing is Rev. Canon Luke Zignego, Vice-Rector of the Shrine of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Chicago.

They're both members of ICKSP and have worked together in the past on march for life and running a high school boys summer camp.

Can you dumb it down further, what does it mean? I think it's a lower ranked person but a more fancy sounding performance?

I imagine if it was done by a higher ranked person than usual then that would make it extra honorable, but are lower ranked people even authorized to do it? Do people usually go to the bishop because it has to be the bishop or because it's preferable to get a bishop ranked ceremony when possible?

Coming from a place of ignorance, this just reminds me that he was born a jew* and it makes me think of jews learning Hebrew to do their worship. They work hard to show their faith, but then it turns out to be form over substance when they set up their eruvs.

Confirmation is one of the 7 Sacraments and the second of the three Sacraments of Initiation which mark entry into the Church. At Confirmation a Bishop or Priest anoints the forehead of a person with Oil of Chrism and says a prayer to call down the Gifts of the Holy Spirit upon the person as a Solider of Christ. This Sacrament used to be given right after Baptism but in the Western Church is now given at 8, 13 or 16 depending where you are in the world. Mine was at 16. In practice it serves as the last time many young people will spend with the Church. The preparation is a lot do you got to find a Sponsor, do yet more Catechism, go on a retreat, write a letter to the Bishop, and talk with your pastor. As Catholics we earn our parties.

This is what the Priest was saying. I am a proud liberal Catholic who uses the new rite so mine was different.

N., signo te signo crucis + et confirmo te chrismate salutis, in nomine Patris + et Filii + et Spiritus + Sanct
N., I sign thee with the sign + of the Cross, and I confirm thee with the chrism of salvation; in the Name of the Father + and of the Son + and of the Holy + Ghost.

No, Confirmation is equally valid with a Priest but in the Western Church it was usually reserved to the Bishop for reasons.
Do people usually go to the bishop because it has to be the bishop or because it's preferable to get a bishop ranked ceremony when possible?
The Bishop would come to the Parish usually the main reason being is a Bishop is suppose to visit each Parish once a year and this kills two birds with one stone.

Confirmation is more about making the commitment to live a Christian life for yourselves rather than your parents at your Baptism.

Pope Francis approval rating is higher than Trump's or Biden's. As for ignoring the decree a few Bishops are banning the Trads most don't give a shit and have dispensed the decree which they're allowed to do it isn't necessarily an insult. It really comes down to how ideological the Bishop is and how much a pain in the ass the trads have been. My Bishop just let the status qua continue but disallowed expansion without his approval. Keep in my trads are <1% of American Catholics and 99% of the problems.

It isn't a LARP you guys! I mean, sure, he is doing it publicly, without any modesty or humilty and only taking in the most superficial aspects but it's totes for real!

Seriously, imagine if a Shabbos Goy (Sargon, whatever) decided to fully embrace judaism and he is, for months posting how the Talmud is the holy word and how the goyim were born to serve them. Then he pays out of poket to Twitch stream him bar mitz bah.

Would you consider him a jew or a guy larping as a jew?

Then why the fuck are there brain dead christians cucks taking his performance as sincere?

Matthew 23:12 "For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted"

Milo has been claiming to be a practicing Catholic for as long as he's been grifting. He was writing articles for the Catholic Herald back in 2011. The entire time before he was cancelled he was insisting he was a practicing Catholic, which is part of the reason he was able to pivot to this grift.

Has he explained why he's only now getting confirmed at the age of 37? This is like someone claiming they are a religious practicing Jew who attends Synagogue every week and writes often on the meanings of the Jewish faith and has been doing so for over a decade suddenly revealing they're going to have an adult Bar Mitzvah. Surely it has to raise questions why he's unconfirmed - it's not like he recently "found faith" or converted, he's supposedly been a practing Catholic this whole time.

I would guess being a flaming homosexual had something to do with it? Just spit balling here.

Listening to the Lauren Southern video that's come out and she's gotten to the bit about Allum Bokhari and Milo. She mentions how Milo asked for blackmail material on Allum claiming he'd joined with antifa and was trying to take him down, then later finds out it was because Allum had been revealed the real author of Milo's book along with articles on Breitbart and for Milo's speeches. As soon as Allum wanted to be paid royalties for the book he wrote, Milo started calling around for blackmail material.

Edit: Regarding the Calan(sp?) and George who also had Milo wrote a hit piece about. Lauren also talks about how the two of them had their issues with Rebel Media. What happened being that the two of them when working with Tommy Robinson did have incidents like using a credit card to buy themselves a dinner, but that also Tommy would do stuff like get drunk and fall asleep under a bridge (or something like that).

To the two sides kinda were shit to each other, but they were still friends (in a toxic relationship way) which surprised Lauren who had only paid attention to the public story done by Rebel Media treating it as just the duo at fault, because they couldn't besmirch Tommy's reputation as that'd mess over the entire trio of Calan, George, and Tommy.
