Na. Stretched skin can be corrected with surgery, and a lot of the health problems that come with such unhealthy weight gain will disappear with the fat.
Somewhat offtopic, but I've always wondered what quality of skin remains after those skin removal processes. Like, skin cells themselves grow to fill the gaps, so those excess can be removed without harm. But what about hair follicles and nerve endings and things like that?

It depends on the size of the person and amount of skin that needs to be removed, and even then the healing process differs person to person. That isn't even going into aftercare.

Scar tissue is different from 'normal' skin. Significant scaring like what you would get from excess skin removal would likely result in loss of feeling over the area of the scar, and hair would not grow on the scar. As an example a man who suffered some facial trauma in the area around his beard resulting in a scar might still be able to grow a 'full beard' but it is follicles near the scar growing up and out through the scar tissue surrounding it, the hair isn't growing on the scar itself.

Unfortunately scaring changes the skin. Aftercare is a big part of how scars will end up looking but for some people even if they do everything 'right' the scar might heal into a colour that doesn't match their skin tone or has an odd appearance (whether that be raised, wrinkled, etc.). Still, after skin removal most would agree it is a much better in appearance than hanging skin and takes a literal weight off of the person who would otherwise need to lug it around

Anna recently blocked a lot of people, some of whom have been commenting on that awful "xanthipppee" account, and others have mentioned it on Lolcow. After blocking her followers, she's disappeared for three days and counting now.

I honestly wonder if Anna could be suffering from bipolar disorder, and may not realize that her eating habits are disordered due to being manic. She seems to have boundless energy for long periods of time, and then she slips into quiet, sullen states. She's only 19, which would explain the rapid cycling and/or lack of true depressive episodes.

"Bean-free"? "Bean-free"? Why the fuck would bean free even be a thing? Beans don't have gluten or any other trendy dietary shit thing that makes them undesirable to tumblrinas and other assorted weirdos. Bean allergy isn't even very common at all (:powerlevel: I am very mildly allergic to beans and I am literally the only person I've ever heard of who suffers from such an allergy). At least Celiac disease is common enough for gluten to be a small but noteworthy issue.

Cutting out certain foods from your diet for whatever reason is trendy for people like this though. After all, how else could gluten-free food become such a huge fad for people who don't have any sort of adverse health issues with it?
Let me predict the next food that will be trendy to avoid: lettuce. Lettuce contains bla bla bla and it's bad for you because bla bla bla...

Just got a response from my brother. The recipe test WILL happen tomorrow afternoon/evening! Tune into this thread tomorrow for pics and maybe video of our....experience.

So far I have the 'gingerbread' protein sludge and the cranberry hell on the list. Anyone else have anything they want to make me eat?

How about "Sweet India Spice Soup?" Be sure to include the optional flaxseed for the snot-like texture!

Now that she's hardcore shilling Walden Farms hellbrews, any pretense that she's not actively trying to lose weight/maintain severe underweight is shot to pieces.
Enlighten me on these Walden Farms "hellbrews"

Lettuce doesnt have much nutrients in it. Its mostly filler. But filler can help if you have a big appetite.
