No. They're just that bad seems like.

Especially since they were given crystal clear instructions on how to fix them (three times) along with "please call us if you don't understand". They must be either ultra-retarded or incapable of reading.

how long can they actually continue to fuck up when asked repeatedly to fix things? especially when these asks are mind-numbingly simple.

As long as it takes for the clerk to lose patience and ask the judge to sanction them.
The clerk could probably enter a notice of default (although the actual judgment would take the involvement of the panel). They will probably get at least one more warning that a default is incoming if they don't fix their fuckups already.

Russ, write a new song about bad lawyers using your experience here
I'm waiting for the next book. He'll add more Mexicans so he can say it's fictional and exaggerate a firm tone into screaming at him, but the details will be there for those autistic enough to decode it all.

Maybe a screenplay. We haven't had one of those in a while.

I'd bet money we're going to get a social media rant about the stupidity and incompetence of Grimm and whatever the other one's name is shortly after this case wraps.

unfortunately for us, i think his days of the full-blown fb ranting are over. he generally only posts the most banal shit now to avoid it getting reposted here and “taken out of context.”

Quick legal question, how many times can they fuck up their filings enough to be told they need to be fixed and refiled, before the court just tells them to fuck off?
Until the court loses patience, or conceivably nool files a motion to drop kick this shit already, which he probably won't.

What do you think of clerk doing a rule 42.1 dismissal for failure to prosecute? It fits the language, but I don't think they are that pissed yet

Gregory Keenan and Andrew Grimm

Those guys are the reason you lost your lawsuit Russ. Let the world know about how bad they were
Unironically he might have a real case against them. He would probably be better off dismissing them given they can't follow even the most basic instructions.

Literally was just answered:

I really wish we would be allowed to find out just what sort of stupid shenanigans were being pulled in all the extended mediation bullshit?
Whilst we may never know just how laughably incompetent Russhole's counsel was during mediation, the fact that Skordas was willing to represent Null in this matter for a fixed price and that Null seemed so nonchalant about the mediation when mentioned on a recent MATI stream says a lot without saying a thing.

Since they're basically lawyers for the music and film industry associations by proxy, and have probably realized by now how bad of a case this is and that fact that it's not going to go in their favor, wouldn't it almost be longterm strategic to get a default judgement for some stupid reason like this rather than having the case move forward and set a precedent against the interests they serve?

At a certain point, I have to ask if they're actually stupid enough to fuck up like this three times now. There are obviously other explanations such as them spending more on their other case which is far more important and giving this less time than it needs, but at a certain point you do start to wonder if they might be trying to stop this from becoming a future thorn in their side.

The former is likely an agreement Null and Skordas came into before Russ got his lawyers but after he filed his notice of appeal. I don't see him being as cheap if he thought he was going against two other lawyers.

The latter is Null probably trusting Skordas to handle it.

Or you could be right. Who knows?

No because what they are doing now makes them pretty much unhireable.

They are from Seattle and love the 9th circuit, so yeah, they totally could.

You'd know more about this than I would... but if it turned out that Skordas had bitten off more than he could chew for the agreed amount, could he have gone back to Null and renegotiated his fee? If this option was open and Skordas didn't pursue it, that suggests that Skordas has Messrs Grimm and Keenan's measure.
