The saga with Kim and her boyfriend... when they did “rolling and trolling,” there was somewhat of an attempt and influence to make Chris move in the right direction with his looks. In my TRUE and HONEST experience, you can’t unsperg an autist from the outside in. Gotta start with the attitude you mentioned, inside out.

I’ve mentioned this before but what Chris could have benefitted most was a positive role model that was consistently around and his age. Older brother type influence that could understand and steer him away, the proper way, from the trolling powers that be on the internet. Focusing his autistic obsessiveness away from colorful cartoon characters and the land of make-believe to more positive role models... which he could emulate in looks, personality, etc.

Talking about CWC is all speculative though. I can agree that Chris isn’t “ugly,” per se, and he could of displayed a much better outwards appearance, but there were some things... physical and mental... that were never going to change. Hygiene, for example. Dude shit his pants and likely had fecal incontinence. He also lived in a hoarder hellhole. There’s some shit even the best life coach can’t fix.

True. Other than kids at school, family-wise, I don't think there was a cousin or relative his age or a few years older than Chris who would help. The irony was that Bob was present in Chris' life, but let him continue on with liking childish things.

I know he accepted that his parents were pack rats and that he admits it was hard to get the hoard out since Barb was in control. Now Chris is very lazy and accepts living in hoarded places because he got used to it. Yes and no, Chris would be kinda dirty in how he kept his space but it would be more organised and he'd know where everything is down to what pile at least, but he would also occasionally throw things away and make a effort to tidy up once a year but it quickly goes back to it's previous state.

Barbs housekeeping skills matched Chris's deepest low and his absurd levels of disgust at his environment it never bothered him much.

Well this sent me down an Internet rabbit hole. I had no idea these were a thing. Kick start mowers went out of style in the 60s and 70s in favor of pull starts. That means Chris was probably using a mower older than himself. Props to Bob for keeping it running so long with a mongoloid regularly using it.

These look super dangerous and heavy. It's a miracle someone as dumb and weak as Chris still has all his toes. Also turns out there's a forum for vintage lawnmower appreciation. Chris used a Craftsman model 917 with an electric starter. No pulling or kicking was required.

Chris probably watched enough Happy Days to know motorcycles are kick started. Having learned that term, he likely applies it to starting any riding vehicle, regardless of the method. That or he just wanted to sound cooler than saying he pushed the start button.

Also, in the Father Call, Chris complained about having to kick the lawnmower itself, not the starter, to restart it. Likely it was simply clogged with grass because he never bothered to clean it out, and kicking it dislodged the obstruction.

Related, I'm always amazed at how lazy Chris is that he thinks riding around his yard on a tractor for a few minutes is too much work.

Ride on's are not as common domestically in the UK but the few families I know that has them the teens relish the chance at driving the ride on and do a extra pass or two just because they are riding a motor of some description.

But the area that covered 14blc while big I'm not sure required a ride on at least for the area they had used as a garden, the dreaming studio takes up a fair bit as does some flower beds etc, it could have been done with a normal mower, maybe one of the bigger ones but still by hand, and even given a ride on you know he'd not be doing a good job anyway.

That's just it: the lawn at 14BLC could have been mowed with a human powered reel mower, but even with an overkill powered lawn tractor to do the job, Chris still complained about the work.

I only started following Chris after the "classic era" and only research him sporadically, but I just came across his messages where he was pretending to be the troll "Junior Jenkins," and his detailed and completely unnecessary description of gay sex really surprised me with its fluency and frankly realism. I first heard it in the Geno Samuel doc I had playing in the background and at first I thought it couldn't possibly have been written by Chris. It doesn't sound like what I've seen Chris write in other contexts and especially regarding sex. There was hardly any egregious grammar, random capitalization, malapropisms, or improbable situations. It honestly reads like legitimate gay erotica to me.

I guess his spelling and grammar was overall better in the early years than it is now but I'm still grammatically impressed with this. It also suggests to me that he had probably watched hardcore gay porn by July 2010 and this was his guilty fantasy. What do others think?

There was hardly any egregious grammar, random capitalization, malapropisms, or improbable situations.

Chris, IMO, frequently adopts the writing or speaking style of whatever media is in front of him at a given moment. When left with kids cartoons, he talks more like a kid. When dealing with trolls he talks more like a troll. When dealing with LGBT community he uses their language, his prison letters reflect biblical language because he has nonstop access to a Bible. You can see this happen in real time in some videos. This isn't some subtle rhetorical scheme by Chris to appeal to a given audience, he just reflects back whatever style is before him.

In this case he probably got an idea to "troll" in that manner and then found sites describing gay sex and just spoke in that manner. (Or, just as likely, he cut and paste something he found and that's why it sounds different).

Yes, he had deeply ingrained homophobia as a result of his upbringing that kept him from identifying as bisexual for a long time. Chris is very inflexible and it's very hard for him to change his core values and beliefs. Probably the idea guys prompted him into accepting it but it didn't come from nowhere.
