I have a love / hate relationship with chiropractors. On one hand they can actually help. On the other hand if they're doing ANYTHING other than adjusting your bones and stuff like that they're full of shit. Any chiropractor that says they can heal a disease is lying through their fucking teeth. This goes double for anybody that talks homeopathy, natural cures, color therapy, reflexology and the like. There's a tiny kernel of truth in what they say but it's packed into a big old ball of bullshit.

I’m talking old anti-medicine people like Jack thinking they can cure diseases. I’ve seen old people refusing to go to a physicians for their diabetes but are happy to go to a chiropractor for it because “they’re real doctors”. It’s sad when we came this far with medicine and have people throw it away because of their politics/ “old time” views. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told by old fucks that physicians lie and make up diseases but chiropractors cure cancers. This shit gets people killed and Jack is one of those people who will die from it.

Now, I love me some Kent but let's be honest with ourselves - exceptionally well trained dogs are not entitled to people food nor will they beg for bits or try stealing a cheeky nibble off the table. I've seen both these behaviours from his dogs.

They're still much better trained than poor, neglected HOPE but potential service dogs they are not. Jack could only dream of having a dog sit on command with no treat needed to tempt it, which by comparison makes damn near any other dog seem exceptional.
