People will say with the benefit of hindsight that Milo was clearly a buffoon that no one should have trusted, but at the time I think it's relatively reasonable to think he was fine. Feel like most people in this whole sphere had no real knowledge about him other than the gamergate stuff, he was known to be working for a legendary/infamous right wing site Breitbart, and he seemed fun to be around with the coke and partying. Milo having the credentials via Breitbart and the TV appearances while also seeming fairly affable in person put him leagues above most of these other grifters.

There wasn't a sort of established alternative media for all these people to have a platform, there sort of still isn't one, which leads to a lot of fucked up situations where it can be hard to tell how serious or sane some of these people are. I think one of the more professional people in alternative right wing media is supposed to be Dave Rubin, who does his show out of his garage and is even doing TV appearances from it. Tim Pool does his thing in his house/compound. Think even Tucker Carlson fled to some little town and does his show from a garage. So it's like no one is doing their work from a traditional looking news studio or office, so if you're ignorant or naïve about this whole are of the media, how would you identify who are the sane or serious ones? Because it seems like it's a little too tempting for most people to just declare them all journo larpers when they're all about as professional, if not moreso, than your average journo.

If Lauren wanted to simply make a video refuting allegations from different people then she would have done so. She titled this video "The WHOLE Truth" and anyone watching this video would think she was simply a good girl who didn't do nuffin and got abused by other people. Given that this women has a track record of lying, I don't think she simply omitted her nationalism/identical arc. She is trying to white wash her past.

As for changing her views. At this point she is basically a gatekeeper against people who have anti feminism or anti diversity viewpoints. When she says, "feminism has some good points," she is normalizing feminism and pushing her audience left. She is doing the opposite of what she did in 2015-2016. At best she is simply another subversion today. If she was serious, she would put out a manifesto with her current political beliefs but she won't do that because then it'll expose her as a centrists (leftist in denial) and she wouldn't be able to continue the "look how crazy the left is" grift.
