I despise Dr Phil as much as the next person but I also remember him telling Susan Schofield what we had all been saying for years and putting her in her place. I could see Hollie trying to stop in there for her inevitable After Archie Press Tour and regretting every minute of it.

Yep, I'm 100% team fuck 'em. They abducted and tortured an infant to death. They traumatized his family and a whole generation of mothers, not to mention the kids who found him severed in two on a railway.

When you're that fucked in the head at ten, there's nothing to be done but the "look at the flowers" treatment. There's absolutely something fundamentally wrong with you and you're incompatible with the rest of society.

Robert Thompson is considered rehabilitated and lives under an alias. Jon Venables has been jailed multiple times for possession of child pornography, including possession of a video where two adults rape a two year old child. He keeps being released with a new identity and someone always finds him out. At this point the book should be thrown at him. He's not fit for society.

James Bulger's father filed a legal challenge to end Venables' lifelong anonymity and lost due to the courts fearing that Venables' life would be at risk. So this pedo gets to be anonymous for life and will be in and out of jail until someone eventually kills him. He's already been attacked while in prison. The British courts considered dumping him on New Zealand due to the high price of protecting his identity. Kiwiland told them to fuck off.

This person is adamant that Dignity is behind KF and others and wants to get them removed.

I was wondering how this kid took an 8ft drop and didn't decapitate himself, and what he used exactly that he had on hand that was 8ft long? I was thinking an extension cord or something, unless he planned ahead of time and got it from a hardware store or his mom's sex closet or whatever.

There's so many idiots cawing like blackbirds and I honestly have no idea what the truth is, other than that this poor kid is gone and not coming back.

They have stated it was a dressing gown cord and the drop happened AFTER she cut him down.

Hangmen traditionally have a special technique to snap the neck and stop blood flow to the brain. The knot of the noose goes on the left side right under the chin and as the person drops down their head is snapped up and back. Archie being 12 just put a loop round his neck and probably climbed over the bannister rather than jumped, then strangled without breaking his neck. It's horrible to contemplate but there's no trauma so it looks like he slowly strangled. We can only hope he was unconscious quickly. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

Didn't take into account how little he is and how much weight would be behind his fall, thank god but I've only ever heard of adults having a long drop.

Archie's corpse being kept alive is for a few reasons:

1. Feeling guilty she wasn't there when she should have so is over compensating now to make herself feel and look better.
2. Denial and avoidance of death.
3. Pushing back investigation of why he hung himself.

I watched a documentary on one profoundly disabled child being kept alive and the mother literally said "I can't even think about him dying, I can't handle it, so I keep fighting". And so they continue to keep the dead animated to avoid dealing with reality.

Why is death bad for these people? Death is normal and part of the human condition. I will never understand this kind of denial and it reminds me of Robyn and her potato she caused through negligence. Them living doesn't negate your neglect causing their current state that you dress up only to make yourself feel better. (see! Look how committed I am to my child! They're my whole life! I'm a good mother! Look at how good I'm being! I care a lot, look at how much I care about my kid now they're fucked up because of me!)

You're continuing the hell you have the power to stop but won't because this is all about you. You're compensating for your absence of parental care when your child was vulnerable and now you think this vetoes your inaction when they were sentient. It's revolting to watch people do this with children. Even in death they're not real people, they're vehicles of validation.

Archie looked to be a kid who is always moving and bright eyed, and you are determined for him to "survive" as a corpse where he is completely still and rotting, while showing pictures of him doing the opposite when he is happiest. Death is mercy for any kid like Archie in this situation. If he was my child I'd unplug him and let him go because he's fucking gone and a rotting corpse that looks like my son isn't my son anymore. Grieving sucks but being in denial in such a destructive way for everyone in involved is so much worse than just admitting your emotional absence as a parent made your kid yeet himself. I couldn't watch my kid in that state, I just couldn't, and I don't know how she can show herself kissing her dead son like she genuinely cares about him and is doing anything in his best interests.

Bury him and live with it.

At this point Archie is essentially one of those hyper-realistic baby dolls women will sometimes keep after a miscarriage or stillbirth because they're not willing/able to accept their kid is dead. They both seem possibly sympathetic/understandable in the immediate aftermath but get more sad and creepy as time goes on. The difference of course being whether actual child corpses are being paraded around for attention/payout.
