She's indie already and her corpo-sona is more popular. I feel like being in a corpo also helps her get her shit together and having a new gen around will probably get her to be a bit more competitive with her streams because somewhere deep down there is the Pipkin whispering in her ear that all these new girls are super talented and she will be forgotten (despite still being to top watched talent).

I recall him saying PC wasn't profitable yet in one of his interviews; I wonder if that's still the case, or if things have gone into the black since then. I could see it either way. There's no denying, though, that in terms of eyeballs and fans, PC has carved out its niche and is on the upswing, and that with the acquisition of Shiina, there's someone at PC who knows how to spot talent and scoop it up. That Phase Invaders happened makes me think there's no issues between talent and management, since I bet Pips would have told them behind-the-scenes if working for the company was not going to be a good time.

I think that was one of his original interviews (the one she did with ex-Tsunderia's big boob manager). When we was with Lumi and Yuri Q&A back in May he mentioned that overall they seemed to be doing way better than what he was expecting and that Offkai went really good for them. I would assume AX also went somewhat but i guess he paid way more for the booth so profits were probably not really that high.

The characters are meant to arouse and they're voiced by women to further the fantasy. They all joke about how LEWD ~*.*~ things are because it excites the willies of the audience. The crossovers are to get yuri R34 going. I find the entire thing inseparable from the cottage industry of pornography surrounding it.

What is to be done about the thirstposting then? What do you want this thread to do? Should we just not post or discuss vtuber that do coomerbait - even if it is done with the intent to condemn said coomer baiting? Many in this thread were either criticizing the bikini outfit or the hypocrisy of those criticizing said outfit. Is that going to far? Should images of 2 women in lingerie or swimsuits just not be posted regardless of context?
If you think that is not halal just make it a rule and enforce it.
I wont deny that many vtuber are doing semi- erotic stuff, but no not all vtuber do lewd shit, nor is that the primary source of Entertainment for them. For example there is Abigail, who as mentioned by takodachi, does bible studies. There are dozens of male vtuber that just play vidja and most importantly the shitton of vtubers that do music. Can this for instance not be seperated from the porn?

Stick around in regular streams and try posting some lines if you want a chance for a test drive, you'll probably get a gift membership eventually since every stream there's at least several people gifting them. It's why her chat is so green now.
I mentioned this earlier but membership content isn't really much: she has a monthly member stream that's usually multiplayer games together or some shared activity (this time it's a watchalong probably because there's so many gift buckos - but she let members fill a poll asking for what they want), she posts some rare exclusive artwork or sketches to the membership tab and posts handwritten letters expressing her gratitude from time to time. And emotes. Membership is also not tiered - higher tiers don't give you any benefits.
I'm a bucko mostly to support her, really.

She made me physically smack my forehead, several times over. She kept reading め as の and then went on a tirade about how unfair is that she's expected to know jap, because she is a vtuber.
Pippa you could just not learn japanese and be content with what meager segment of the english language you employ, I'm sure it's totally up to you in the end and not at all a supreme disappointment.

It's because some fucking mongoloid retard told her to not study Hiragana/katakana at all, because "It'll come naturally when you learn vocabulary" which I don't know how she plans to do without being able to read. So her progress is slow as fuck, and she feels like she learned nothing, because she went at it ass backwards, and when people suggested using flashcards, or something else to try and learn the kana, she just chimped out and started saying that it just doesn't work for her. Her thinking that "it's just expected of me to learn japanease because I'm a vtuber" is also a shitty thing to say, because y'know, her friend/genmate Michiru, and her friend Aoi who, I imagine she'd like to actually talk to sometimes.

I know Vtubers aren't your thing and they weren't something I would watch at first, but in their defense some of them outright kill any of that coomer bullshit where they won't even pretend to be gay and won't make the topic about their tits, etc. So while there is a lot of yuri bullshit it's generally from the fans not the streamer and fans can be fucking weird. Some of them actually do seem to see themselves as family friendly and Pekora is doing the lords work by denouncing polygamy (She's also the one who doesn't play gay or court coomers and is ironically one of the most successful vtubers)

Like @Undercover Commissioner said music is also a thing, and the vtuber he posted keeps sexual content pretty low, aside from her design covering her tits she even had the company remove any jiggle physics from her 3D model because she hated people who were more interested in her tits/avatar than her music. Again she is one of the more successful big name vtubers. She told her fans upright she would never date them so they shouldn't follow her in the hopes they can woo her over.
She also has great opsec and has thwarted all stalkers trying to find out who she is.

You can't say who DM'd you, but can you at least say it wasn't me (since I have been bitching about the titty streamers)?
