tl;dr Jeremy's views are way down after all his drama the past week. He's claiming victory in his video where he begs people to follow him again if he stops and makes a bunch of excuses. He's crying about it to his Youtube rep and asking how to get his views up and it looks like he's going to start livestreaming on a regular schedule on her advice.
Jeremy's views are tanking again. He's been sliding slowly for the past few weeks but this week it dropped off hard and he was barely able to scramble together 100k views on half his videos. His usual is somewhere in the 140-150k average per video mind you.
As usual when this kind of thing happens he's upped his output to keep his overall number up, 48 videos in the past 10 days after he was back to his more "normal" output for a while. Every time his channel has slid down in views he's been able to prop it up by shitting out more videos but I think we are close to the threshold of what's viable at 150 videos a month. There's a point where that trick just doesn't work any more.
It hasn't been covered much in this thread but I think all the drama with Keffals and Rich handed Jeremy a big L. As stupid as it sounds some people actually believed his talking points about being a centrist who's just critical of the excesses of LGBT culture but wasn't actually transphobic then he goes on Twitter and starts calling Keffals a dude every 30 minutes and saying "you have a dick you aren't a real woman" etc. Not a smart thing to be doing when you've conned a significant number of people into thinking you are
actually an LGBT ally under the surface.
He released a video the other day trying to spin his L into a W. It's basically what you would expect, "Rich is dumb and broke and I feel bad making fun of him so I'm going to stop" as he rants for most of the video about how much Rich sucks. Then
he begs all the people who unfollowed him on Twitter to refollow him promising he'll stop acting like a dipshit. Next he goes on a side rant of how "um uh I might have said some things and people um uh might think I'm something I'm not" and how much he totally respects everyone regardless of identity. Basically please ignore my actions and accept my words. He also hints at how some of his sponsors were less than excited when people started tagging them under posts of him screaming about trans dicks on Twitter. Anyways it's very clear from this video that Jeremy got humbled and the insistence that he won probably isn't fooling anyone (this also marked the point where his views fell off a cliff).
Anyways a lot of this was just casual observation on my part but now I saw Jeremy on Twitter today crying about Youtube. Seems like he went running to his rep asking why his channel was doing so poorly all of a sudden, JEEZ IDK JEREMY I CAN'T THINK OF A SINGLE REASON. Instead of just telling him "hey maybe make less shitty content, stop sperging out drunk on Twitter, and stop shilling your coffee every 5 minutes even when your fans constantly tell you it's annoying them" she told him to try making shorts and do more livestreams. He's already tried and failed the shorts, or rather his midwit editor failed at shorts. So low and behold Jeremy did a livestream tonight
and didn't immediately delete it.
Edit: Oh god I just flipped into the Livestream because I knew he'd be crying about his channel at the beginning. First he cries his channel is "100% not growing" his words. Then he reveals since Youtube told him to livestream more he plans on going back to video game streams. I don't know how the fuck that's the message he got from Youtube telling him to go live more, they probably meant do something related to your normal content dumbass. I know some people here will enjoy watching Darkside Jeremy fumble his way through video game streaming one more time.
So now Jeremy must be desperate if he's going crying to his rep asking how to up his channel and immediately taking her advice. He's crying about his videos not showing up in searches again, whah whah, the company fucking you over so hard they gave you a live rep you can call and cry to and ask for help whenever you want. Anyways I hope he starts doing regular livestreams just to have another shot at failing at something new. His livestreams work decent as once in a while things but I can't imagine people tuning in regularly and that being a successful thing that grows more following.
Archived his timeline here the Youtube salt is at the 7hr mark, site won't let me load images for some reason.
