I mean hell, look at Atlus, as far as I can tell it took Sega dragging them kicking and screaming to start releasing their games on PC, and even still they have their archaic streaming limitations that cause a lot of streamers to not even bother streaming the game. I'm sure most people have at least one game they have bought because of a content creator playing/reviewing it, that they otherwise might have never seen.

Well, Persona 5 is finally making its way to PC in October, so it's the season to get them all in order before the big streamer rush when it hits. Maybe Sega smacked some 21st century sensibilities into Atlus for a minute.

Basics of what happened was Kobo tweeted out in the morning "good morning from big Vtuber!" to which Siska responded "what's big Kobo? your head?" leading to Kobo just silently deleting her tweet.

I don't give 2 fucks about any possible "drama" so much as I just get a kick out of seeing someone get ego checked at that level.

Someone in the replies to the tweet managed to screenshot Kobo's tweet and put it in a video so that's there if folks want to be able to see Kobo's initial tweet.

Since I'm really not familiar nor can I relate to all the PC posting at all: any recos for the new gen and why? Also, why is the yabbit the thread vtuber or something, and what are reasons as to why I should watch/follow her?

Shiina (the seamstress) is probably the one I like the most out of the new gen even if her clothes design was a huge debuff for me. She's a good entertainer, played games I like so far, can banter pretty well and is a great singer. Airi the pon dog has a good sense of comedy from what I've seen too and I have yet to find the time to watch Rie after her debut flop (supposedly she got better) - but time is my enemy. I'm not exactly interested in the others at this point in time.
Pippa is a bit of a thread mascot because she lurks here (and on 4ch) and has a significant interest in lolcows. I don't watch her too often anymore ever since the new viewer flood after she obliterated the gunt appeared - her chat took a nosedive in quality. Other than that, she can have surprisingly decent and candid opinions on various things and is a shitposter at heart.

Basically agreeing with lakyus here. Seamstress and Pon Wolf are the two biggest standouts for me. See my above thoughts for Rie. And Panko is supposed to be a comfy kusogaki. Haven't had time to watch her yet.

Erina and Remi just didn't snag me that hard. I'll have to re-watch them again in some time to reevaluate.

There is an actual phenomenon where you will hear certain things if you're focused on certain words and if the sound is vague enough, regardless of what's actually being said. In this video you will hear a cheap Ben 10 toy say either "Brainstorm" or "Green Needle" depending on which you're thinking about. It's very trippy as the sound the toy plays does not change but you will hear two completely different things that are said in different cadences.

Panko has a dead air problem. I wanted to like her because her debut was good and she intrigued me, but she sounds really like a first timer.
I managed to catch Hime's Omori stream this morning and she's genki, so it was a pleasing background, but I really didn't listened cause the game is not my jam.
Shiina is really good, she never stops, she banters and react quickly to the game and the mood is comfy.
