I predict that management will be morons again and release a female EN gen like a month after these guys, stealing any thunder they might have gotten and dooming them to obscurity, the only people who will bring them up will be a couple fags in this thread taking jabs at the holos, concernfagging and tribalfagging like usual.

Pippa is a bit of a thread mascot because she lurks here (and on 4ch) and has a significant interest in lolcows. I don't watch her too often anymore ever since the new viewer flood after she obliterated the gunt appeared - her chat took a nosedive in quality. Other than that, she can have surprisingly decent and candid opinions on various things and is a shitposter at heart.

Basically agreeing with lakyus here. Seamstress and Pon Wolf are the two biggest standouts for me. See my above thoughts for Rie. And Panko is supposed to be a comfy kusogaki. Haven't had time to watch her yet.

Erina and Remi just didn't snag me that hard. I'll have to re-watch them again in some time to reevaluate.

These two have some overlap with pippa's timeslot. Shiina usually starts 2 hours earlier and then raids pippa's stream (yesterday she overlapped for a bit and CCVs dropped). Airi's slot is usually 2 hours into pippa's stream, which might explain any low ccv numbers at the beggining.
The problem with this is, the new girls VODs are pretty much safe, whereas pippa's might get nuked right away making watching her live kinda of a priority (unless you have archivebro's or godzilla's archives) .

Good choices:
  • Rie: Cool streams, doesn't really stick too much to the ojou kayfabe but has shit streaming hours (most likely from west coast). Great game choices so far and good chat interaction.
  • Panko: EU friendly timeslot. Feels like a Y1 gura and mumei mashup, she ends up being more chill than expected. Haven't paid too much attention to her and IIRC she still hasn't played anything on stream.

Remi - Seems to be playing her kusogaki vampire role without going full coomerbait. Sorta reminds me of Luna with her voice.

Airi - Clumsy and bullyable. Really good low voice when singing. Sorta reminds me of Towa but with a cuter regular talking voice.

Shiina - Despite having the lewdest design she doesn't really go for any coombaiting. Great singer and also the art girl of the gen. Gives me Kanata vibes in that she seems to talk to chat in a somewhat straightforward way.

Erina - Extremely chill with the low/soft mommy voice. Currently the most popular. Her voice reminds everyone of Kronii but her streams seem to be close to Ina's in how chill they are.

Panko - As someone stated before, she gives Gura/Muumei vibes but I can't really say because I haven't really seen much of her. Might be a salty/toxic gamer and I sorta hope she plays up to that.

Rie - She's supposed to play the ojousama role but doesn't seem to be going into it as hard as I originally thought she would. Very sweet voice but as with many of the others I haven't really watched much from her.

Not Gen2 but close:
Lumi - Mostly streams in Twitch and she plays a bunch of strategy games. She is as yab as Pippa

Yuri - Haven't watched much from her other than a few talking streams.

They can't because unless Cover literally erects a wall around them, Stars EN can't replicate the 'Cop Rape BDSM Roleplay ASMR' meta that put Luxiem on the map. Mind you there's a lot of viable avenues for stars EN but emulating niji is definitely not one of them.

no,they should learn from their ID,specifically kobo,fujobait market largely chinese,which is impossible to get for holo,its better that they go for another kobo,someone who just stream game,whether its competitive like kaela with wild rift or shitpost like kobo and targetting "true normie" audience.

many kobo fans call her "bang" or "big bro" because they think kobo is a guy/normal ID youtuber using some anime girl pfp/avatar. they don't know or care about "vtuber" in general as long as its entertaining.

You know, I didn't feel too much when she announced it. Because it wasn't super unexpected, and also it felt like I hadn't watched her all that much.
But the other day I looked at her videos page, and more than half of her streams were marked as "watched" for me (with the little red underline).

So yeah... once all the sappy goodbyes start adding up, this is really gonna hit.
Especially if the last couple weeks are filled with banger collabs like this one, just showing us over and over what could have been.

I remember people thinking he might be a NijiEN Wave 6 candidate because he's close with Millie, too.
There's a few other notable graduations that people theorized as Wave 6 but that could also be Holostars. The ones I remember would be Chimon, who graduated in January after strongly hinting he would reincarnate and then vanished off the face of the earth, Randon, who played a salaryman orc and graduated in May, and Hanbyeol, a Korean softboy type who also graduated in May.
