It's placeholder text as far I've known. I once saw it on a school website. There were descriptions that were just filled with the same Latin sentences. Probably nothing too serious.

Be fair, those auditions had been up for over a year at this point. Fact they could only find four guys is saying a lot. Either they had extremely high requirements or the standard ratio of people applying was frankly that low.

Some have speculated that they got low ratio of people applying. Part of me thinks this is not true but at the same time I think they might be looking with high standards so 99% of all auditions got passed/ignored. They want to blow up as hard as Niji did but I think that will only work if they integrate with the girls.

I assume one of the requirements was: "did not apply to get into the pants of another hololive member". Which would eliminate 99.9% of all applicants.

Getting sponsorships and selling out feel like two different things; you don't automatically become Hitler for shilling HelloFresh or something. A bunch of variables can come into play for that, like what you shill (shilling a decent food box subscription and shilling a hyper-predatory mobile game can be like advertising apple juice vs. advertising Krokodil), your self-awareness, how you respond to criticism on that, etc.

As far as RAID goes, as long as they're self-aware enough to know they're essentially helping in the mobile game marketing equivalent of 419 scams, they can do whatever the hell they want. If it's someone small getting to have a good paycheck, that's even better. I remember someone popular to normies shilling that trash on a stream and blocking any sort of criticism towards the game, that shit felt slimy.

I was referring specifically to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, which is a free-to-play mod (free because it uses GSC's assets with permission, but with the caveat they cannot profit from it). It's the culmination of dozens of different modders creating a sort of 'ultimate' version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. It's pretty amazing, if you like that sort of stuff. I, uh, may have a rather large amount of time invested in playing all the games and their many, many mods.

Now look at the fact that Hololive Japan requires mod author permissions, not just from the original game publisher (like Minecraft shader mods and crap, for example). It would be a nightmare to track down every modder's permission for that project, which is why I know Botan playing that particular game is my dream, and nothing more.

I've seen a few two-views stream some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. playthroughs, but to see Botan go at it? I hope she does try one of them some day.

Checked it out: It's Luwi Lumi from Twitch. Here is the clip with the original audio but the voice in the streams is not that cutesy. Someone with the build-in troon radar has to confirm if she's really female, I can't say for sure @SandyCat.
