Take one look at their 'herd' and you can see the animals are poorly bred (has there been any talk of animal husbandry records?) and looked after (my first question would be about the overall health of their herd if I am buying animals) not to mention going to inspect them means you have to endure the miasma emitted by the amhole as you will be in close proximity.

How the fuck is that "flank elements in action on obj"? How can you run a drill about a flanking element when you don't have a flanking element? Phil and Jarrod are the only ones doing any of these drills and instead of doing two man drills they act like they have an entire platoon backing them up with QRF, I know Phil's drawing from his military "experience" but for fucks sake the first thing any serious civilian larper learns is that what works for the military rarely works for civilians.

Note: I'm well aware it's all a larp and the biggest thing they're likely to deal with is a wildcat or bear.

Depending on the distance. True close quarters a tactical shotgun could be great. Distance not so much. Tactical shotguns that aren't full on pistol grips (birdshead and bullpup) in practiced hands are the closest civilians will get to the performance of a pistol caliber submachine gun like LE and Military use. Submachine guns are easier so tactical shotguns are all but abandoned for agencies that can use subguns. Pistol grip shotguns due to the grip angle are mostly useless except for looking cool, fitting in small spaces, or as a breeching tool (wedge it in the frame and blow a door off its hinges).

Their tactics need to flip to civilian. Get away if you can, hide if you can't, fight if you have no other possible resort. This looking for ammo and meds bullshit is pure larp fantasy.

Skill wise they'd be better served working their bare basics fundamentals cause they suck (most gun LARPers are awful at fundementals). Spend some time with an accurate .22 or airgun and get really truly accurate and good. Then add on all the bullshit. There wasting money and time compounding bad habits into muscle memory. Not one of these fools have thought to troon out a 10/22 lol.

200 animals is $22k a year in feed. For nothing. Absolutely a waste of time and money. Not to mention a proper 200 animal barn, cess pit and corrals and you're starting to look at north of a million in investments. For animals that are inedible, with worthless wool.

If you ever get the chance, a genuine, well cooked, Peruvian Alpaca Steak is pretty fantastic. Its not even like Guinea Pig where they eat it effectively out of necessity (still shockingly pretty good, it was worth trying even though the cute vs taste factor heavily favors cute to me). The alpaca steaks are pretty damn good.

The wool aint bad either, when its used by someone who knows what they are doing.

You generally want to avoid as much time stood up and exposed as possible in any sort of combat situation, even flanking as they claim this video is. Ideally, one group does suppressing fire while another advances a few seconds, rinse repeat, etc which is what makes their granny pace so funny.

tl;dr: In that 'drill' - aka walk and shoot - you are depending on your superior firepower and body armor to allow you Terminator an enemy into abandoning their position and running away, and if they don't - shooting them in cover. It is more a protective detail manuever where you are protecting a VIP - rather they shoot at your than the principal. You have given up on cover so you are expecting the opposition to be armed with light weapons. Not that it matters because you are expecting voluminous amounts of covering fire from, as @CIS White Droid said, a platoon-sized element with a couple of LMGs/SAWs to keep the enemy's heads down so they can't shoot. When they do pop up to shoot back, the assaulting element is moving slowly to be able to provide accurate fire to suppress them.

A proper flank-and-take should involve running. You should be buddy rushing up to position and then both sprinting those last few yards. The only reason you'd move slow is if you are MOUTing and trying to get into a building unnoticed - relying on stealth.

Phil should be ashamed, any range sergeant should be yelling at them to keep at least 5 meters separation in case haji has a grenade.

Also a two man version is utterly fucking retarded, minimum it should be two two man teams.
