Randon for some reason would not get affiliate or have donation links on his twitch despite having memberships over on YouTube previously, a good bit before he even announced he would be stopping all Vtubers activities. All his past vods from his streams on YouTube/Twitch are gone besides 2 random ones and he's highlights/story videos. He did not have super crazy numbers but he did get a good couple hundred live viewers and support from a lot of other Vtubers bigger than him.
Now I know Cover does not like to pick up 2view but I feel like he has the charm and drive to get his foot in the door with an audition and could handle being given a larger audience.
or maybe I just miss my orc and want to hear his stories again(:_(

He seems chill, I'd probably watch him. That avatar is cool, though, so whatever Holo would give him would be a downgrade, imo. I always thought non-human avatars like this should be more popular than they are.

Also his popularity seems pretty close to some other talents Cover has hired, so I would not rule him out. The timing is pretty good.

Also fair but if he is being falsely metoo'ed then that lends credence to his story that they took advantage of him because i wouldn't put it past someone who would falesly accuse someone of stuff like that

I imagine someone smarter than her, the discord groomers, and whoever else was "involved" pointed out the smart thing to do was shut the fuck up about it after 2 videos/chats about it.
Personally I'm pretty happy about it because she does some solid music stuff, even if the rest of what she does is hit or miss on what you tolerate. Her letting it go after the fanbase blamed each other was the best thing she could have done.


So far this guy on Pippa's talk show interview just seems like he was clueless but hopeful. Despite having started it all he later just randomly wanted everything delegated with no real plans. How are people even supposed to work with that? No wonder it sounds like nobody ended up doing anything useful.

Edit: I lost track of some of the chat, but who's in it and claiming what exactly? I see this Koro person is sort of laying into or calling himout, but was there another one or two I missed? just curious because this really sounds like it's a "Two sides, the fuck up in somewhere in the middle" for the most part. Though this dude definitely didn't help much if at all.

This dude seems like a retard with a ton of money that wanted to make more money by doing Vtubing shit by basically letting everyone else handle the management aspect. The whole flirting thing seems like a nothing burger that probably rubbed the girls wrong after the fact. He doesn't see this as his failure because in his mind he dropped the cash and expected everything to work on its own by just pumping more money into it but other than that he wasn't doing shit.

eh I mean from the things he was saying it sounds to me like even if every one of his talents was a soulless wench out to destroy him. He was still the boss and was too much of a spineless faggot to say no when they asked for him to pay for their ubereats and shit.

He's the person in charge of the company, he's the one with the power to shut that shit down, if he failed to do so that's 100% on him. they may or may not have been virulent cunts but he was still the one in charge, if he lacked the spine to actually take charge he had no business starting a company like this in the first place.

On top of that you have to assume that it wasn't literally every single one of the 12 talents he claimed they had on board,
which means there were some girls who he roped into this circus he had no idea how to run, and then ran the company into the ground out of ineptitude. and he wants to do it AGAIN.

Maybe he's weinstein, maybe he's not, maybe the girls were terrible, maybe they weren't. But those facts remain unrelated to the business side of things itself where he was the one in charge. some of the girls possibly maybe being mean to him doesn't make him not financially retarded or any less spineless in dealing with talent. Someone being mean doesn't excuse ineptitude.

Or I guess since it yet again became recently topical I can explain it in thread terms. those girls vs this guy are like retards like swingle vs Nolan. The people hounding Nolan daily might be retards, but Nolan's still the dumb faggot that brought it on himself. The same is true of this guy and his talents.

sounds like he doesn't have to worry about the money too much and my impression was it originally started with "sounds fun, let's do it" without a proper plan or idea (he just repeated it pretty much right now). in his defense he's apparently also a bong where it's 3am right now, so not necessarily the best shape to do a hard hitting interview for over an hour.

he doesn't really sound like the weinstein of vtubing, just another failed business and there are hundreds each year most people never hear from. from this whole "family" thing my impression is he didn't want it to be overly "corporate" (you know, the shit plenty of vtubers and their watchers complain) and more positive, which was probably way too naive. would also explain the "flirting" by keeping it casual and see what develops, just like his company.

the whole thing can also be a much bigger drain on your psyche than anyone can imagine, either from being too much work, and then when shit goes sideways from trying to fix it etc.
