I enjoy obtaining the occasional pair of aesthetically pleasing sneakers to wear but female sneaker hoarders are particularly dumb. If she’s not just hoarding them as an “””investment””” and is doing it to actually wear them and be really fashionable, she’s gonna have a pretty big wake-up call if she ever decides to have kids - your feet go up a shoe size because the pregnancy hormones loosen up the connective tissue between all your joints to make room for the baby to grow. She’s gonna have like 5000 pairs of shoes that don’t fit her anymore.

Or… You can modify the model, add rivets and drill holes, modify it so it’s more accurate and of course a lot of skill goes into painting and weathering.

Speaking of… There is an incredibly amount of autism and cashgrabs going on in the modelling community.

For example: Companies buying up pallets of acrylic paint dust, marking it up by 500% and selling it as X CONPANY weathering powder.

Or getting some regular oil colors, thinning it massively with white spirit and selling it in tiny 8$ Tins of “panel liner” or “brown color model wash”.

A lot of companies have also started selling metal or resin extras for a model kit, so your fancy 100$ ship/plane/tank suddenly end up costing 3-400$ with all the extras.
