conversely the Japanese staff being surprised by them itself points away from them being a JP branch in any capacity.
By this point with Uproar we had members confirming "they're a JP branch" to viewers.

This time around we have Astel and Oga talking about them with a vague assumption their EN and that they have their own separate English staff.

I'd pretty confidently say this isn't another JP group, and given the general chatter from existing stars all leaning in the direction of EN, the fact there were EN male auditions, Things like Calli responding positively to people saying the new gen was equivilent to dad (her) getting sons by a fan. the announcement tweet being in English, the text in the trailer being english (with the exception of the latin placeholder text)

Some of these things on their own yeah don't say much, but all of it together starts to paint a picture.

Myth and Council 1000% did that though they've talked about it and specifically I remember Kronii talking about how her and Calli geeked out over music production and sound recording equipment long before council's debut.

Yeah, Myth, Council, and Hope all talked. I doubt Tempus would, though. Unlike NijiEN females and males all being one branch, Tempus would technically be a different branch, Holostars EN.

But, Astel didn't talk about TEMPUS. If you check in the description of the video of that clip and you go to the stream it was taken from, you can see that the stream was from 5 (maybe 6 now, timezones and shit) days ago. Meaning, it was before the teaser. Now, there are two ways to see this. One, that Astel talked about HoloStarsEN some days before the teaser, so soft-confirmation. Two, it was pure coincidence as Astel has talked about HoloStarsEN by himself before, and that Oga confirmed that they don't know anything.

I do agree that some things could be painting a bigger picture, but I am not going to get excited only for later to be wrongly excited. That is why when it comes to HoloStars, I wait for the announcements.

Edit: I hope someone makes memes about who was right and who was wrong.

Yeah but because they are HoloLIVE not HoloSTAR, that doesnt apply to Niji where all the waves be male or female lurk in the same discord because they are not different divisions

I think that no matter how the males are handled someone is gonna be pissed off, if i was COVER i would have never tried to go head to head with the nijis given that they have a huge market that holos are barred from getting, they will always be at a disadvantage, the only way to win is to not play in the first place.

Minase Rio said that he now feels compelled to learn English and immediately did and English-Only Valorant stream. I saw him responding to Reimu about wanting to collab with her in English so she can teach him too one day. He also interacts with NijiEN tweets like Shu's in English. Certainly says to me that at least he is 100% anticipating them to be an EN branch.

Though, this now makes two Holostars productions that the members of the main branch have either insisted are separate entities to them and aren't directly affiliated (Uproar) or that they didn't know anything about them (Tempus). If both are to be believed, I wonder why suits are so keen on promoting them as different entities when they all materially do the same thing.

If the only acceptable outcome was winning there'd only ever be one player.
Even if Holostars EN doesn't pass Luxiem.......... who gives a shit beyond stupid numberfags or tribalists.

If hololive was going to back out of the game the moment they didn't come out on top, holostars as a whole would have died years ago. and if Nijisanji was going to give up if they didn't win, NijiEN wouldn't have survived to reach Luxiem's debut in the first place.

Those that want regular collabs with Stars have already shown what they want over the past 2 years. Beyond getting roped into collabs by Bae and Mori I doubt the rest of EN will actively seek it out. For all her posturing, Ame knows the audience she draws and she's not going to rock that boat too much. Besides, she had 2 fucking years to collab with Stars and considering JP is a non-issue to her with frequent JP collabs she could have done it. Beyond a few supportive tweets to a couple of Stars: nothing. I doubt that will change.

The problem with Tempus that i have see it is that people want them to be like Luxiem/Noctys, that is not going to happen without really breaking the mold of what make Holo what it is, i just hope they dont get fucked to oblivion like their JP cousins or Cover decide to bomb their thunder by releasing another Gen a month later like they love to do

I think if Tempus is actually an EN branch, then that would change things. Being able to actually communicate goes a long way. With JP girls, they can at least fall back on "girls doing cute things despite not knowing what the fuck the other is talking about". It is a lot less pressure.

I strongly suspect Kiara is watching the reaction to this very closely. She has barely addressed it at all, only to briefly make fun of the return of the Chuuni shit in her members stream. She's not going to like to see the inevitable drop in her CCV if she pushes for collabs like Bae and Calli. Ame might be fine if some Goslings leave, but risking the KFP fanbase even a little is something I don't think she'll want to tempt fate with.
