Just a quick update on numberfagging.
Down to 38k. Still really good, I'm expecting her to end up as the top VShojo streamer after this.

Overall it feels good seeing her excited, though I'm never going to watch her after this and already tuned out due to lack of interest.

new starts for both em, how could they not be? Wish it was something with a bit more pedigree or even indie but eh.. sometimes that's how the dice fall
 
Honeymoon aside, it's not too surprising Kson feels more at home at VShoujo than Hololive. She never did quite fit Hololive's culture and VShoujo's fits her better. Furthermore, indie wasn't really working out that well for her since she's a mediocre solo streamer. Her main strength is she bounces well off other people in collabs.

Nazuna doesn't necessarily fit in but she's a much better solo streamer than Kson so I think she'll be fine regardless. She's very good at what she does. Not many VTubers are better at acting cute than her. A bit too fake for my tastes but she's probably the best at the cute/clumsy/crazy act... not all of it is an act so that helps.

And yeah, she'll do GFE. Don't expect a tiger to change its stripes. That's what pays the bills and she'll do it like she's always done. I wouldn't bet on her being anything other than a yandere girlfriend role player and a rage gamer. Purely as an entertainer she's a bigger catch than Kson. I'd be surprised if she doesn't settle into being the most watched VShoujo girl.


Hololive doom posting is silly. No singular talent graduating will change much. Of those with a big enough brand to survive the transition only Marine would probably think about it and she can barely stream due to throat issues and so benefits from staying on... streaming once every month isn't really viable in another corp and Hololive has one of the better merch arrangements (supposedly).

Once the majority of the OG members (Gen 0-4, Gamers, Myth) graduate and they lose the majority of their diehard fanbase things will start looking worse but it's a long way off from that point.

People are always happy and excited in the beginning, we shall see how this plays out.

Definitely a moment in vtubing that could end up being very important or totally inconsequential, only time will tell.

EDIT: @SteelPlatedHeart oh, and I just learned before Nazuma's stream ended, having Twitch up rewrites some of my inbuilt keyboard shortcuts and macros, it all went back to normal the minute the Twitch tab was closed.. tell me the site isn't fucked and malicious. I've never had this happened to me before but Twitch does it of all days

It's a tool cooked up by Vshojo to allow someone in chat (in this case someone by the name of Kamishiro Taishi) to live translate and have their translations pop up as subtitles in the stream itself. This is likely similar to what we see from stuff like the Live TL plugin or on Holodex, but in this case it's interfaced directly with the stream and not through another site/plugin

The subtitles come up so fast, it makes me wonder if there's a delay on the stream long enough to get the subtitles ready to match better.
